Well, glad thats over. How do you think we'll do? We have some talent. I think we'll be OK. We should be able to get to districts, but it'll be tougher after that.

Your football team has already shocked a number of people on the West side of the State. Perhaps your basketball team can get to the Regionals and shock everyone again.

I hope so. Genoa is a good team and except for a few turnovers it may have been different, but we turned the ball over in the 4th quarter that made the game close. The fumble for the touchdown hurt us. We were looking a little tired after that, but our defense held on. OG seems like a workman like team that's seen passing offenses (Kenton). The good news about this team is we can do both depending on the defense that they use.

Who do you think will start? My guess's are Guards-Ha. Plybon and Vierheller, Hi. Plybon and S. Aultz, the fifth player is more of a question and could be Johnson, LeFever, or Workinger, or Aultz. A lot of people will get to see action with DaVault, Mc Crary, Myers, Hardnett, Hostetler, Reusser and Jarrett all getting in some depending on how they play.

Wow, that seems high to me. I watched them this Summer and we were OK , but they may know something I don't.

We'll get a peek Tues the 24th at Massillon at a preview at 6:00pm. Its a preview to benefit the Massillon B&GC and next year it will benefit the Orrville Club, so it might be nice to have a showing.

We will be fine it will take time for a starting line-up probably will be Workinger,Elle, both Plybons, K. Aultz, one of the 2 big girls Aultz or Hostetler may also see some starting time, not much time from McCreary or Jarret, M. Johnson. probably will see more time on JV.
But we have a very good head coach so the girls will play hard.

Girls lost by around ten. Was up to about 21 and we came back. No real lineups or substituting patterns. Everybody got to play. Hard to make out who the good players are. A lot of people look close in ability. Ref's got in some much needed practice, also. LOL. Orrville was ranked 10th in the Ohio Girls Basketball Report, but I'm still not seeing it. I hope they prove me wrong. I think we have a good coach who will get the most out of his players and I think we'll have a good season, but we don't have enough skill and athleticism. We are deep and have people who can come in without missing a beat.

Sat. 28th at Orrville we'll take on the Doylestown Chipps @ 1:00. Doylestown has some returning players which should make this game a good one. We'll see how many people are going to see time and who the main contributors will be. Come out and support the Lady Riders.

Thought this would have been a good game, but Doylestown was hurting from the flu and an injury to one of their impact players. Hoping she gets better after an earlier in the week injury. Doylestown wasn't able to keep up with the Riders with a depleted roster. Final score was 67-43. Freshman Hannah Plybon lead scorers with 20 and classmate Maggie Davault and Kalie Aultz had 11 each with a large list of others who scored. I may have to eat my words of two posts up. We looked more athletic than I thought we would and we were as deep as I thought we would be. Still wondering about 10th after only seeing them play once, but I thought we looked better than I would have guessed. STO were you at the game? Are you at every game? LOL

The girls will be tough, I think we are much deeper than last years squad and we will be better overall.

Some young scorers for the girls. Great to see. Keep working hard and getting better. I don't read into pre-season polls to much. They change very fast. Just take care of your business and that will all work out in the tourney.

Lex will be 3-0 with wins over Ontario, Willard and Madison. Looks like they have 4 seniors and some of the same ones who played v-ball. Lex looks to play m- to-m on defense and run with the ball, playing ten deep. Lex will be a lot better than last seasons losing record due to a transfer from St. Petes and a healthier Emily Wilson. Should be another challenge to the Lady Riders.

The Lady Riders will have plenty of challenges. What I want to see is how they handle a close game. How will the girls respond? Some very young ones that are playing really well. I hope to see great things out of these girls from years to come.

Lexington will be the first true test for Lady Riders this year and with a realy fast start to the season for the Lady Riders this should be the game that sets the tone for the rest of the season.
