If West Holmes can score over 40 points they win this game, but if they duplicate their scoring performance against Hoover they might get outscored by the Plybon sisters alone.

Orrville wins on a repeat last second shot by Hannah Plybon (Deja Vu). 44-43. Orrville lead for most of 3 quarters when WH came back and took the lead at the end of the 3rd quarter. At the 9 second mark WH was up by 1 and Orrville missed on an in bounds play and Plybon rebounded the miss for a lay up for the final score. WH in bounded the ball and brought it down for a last second shot that was blocked by Sara Aultz to seal the victory. Another well coached game by both coaches. WH down fall was missed foul shots in the final quarter. Out side shooting is what kept them in the game with Orrville having a double digit lead early.

That Orrville is extremely lucky. It's all good though.

RR1 that was me who said Randy Wachtel in your blog, but I meant Ron. Orrville's now 12-0 and in the drivers seat for the conference championship. Orrville still has Senior (Sat.) , Madison, Clearfork and Wooster, so its not a lock, but this does give us an advantage. Win three of the 4 and its guaranteed.
Quite a crowd at Orrville with the stands packed and a good showing from WH.

Uh-oh, chinks appear in Orrville with a loss to Mansfield Sr.

Read on facebook that the Orrville girls got a lot of personal items stolen from the Senior locker rooms yesterday.
mr300,
chinks that WH couldnt expose apparently. Can't win em all I guess. Team could easily have 4 losses by now, so it was bound to happen sooner or later.

Very ugly game they shot 46 foul shots and called 32 fouls on us, but glad we lost one now it was going to happen I would rather loose to Sr. then to W. Holmes or Wooster. Madison will be a tough game at home on Thurs. they just beat Wooster by 15.
Yea one of the coaches said "Welcome to Mansfield" after the girls reported all their Ipods and other stuff were stolen, very classy.

Yeah, nice hosting.sports time ohio wrote: Yea one of the coaches said "Welcome to Mansfield" after the girls reported all their Ipods and other stuff were stolen, very classy.
Instead of saying that, the adults should have said that they were sorry and would try to get the situation taken care of, and then apologized again.............instead of making a "flip" remark.
I can't wait till we dump this conference and get one set up that is more favorable to us.

Like Seniors coach said earlier in the year, " Strange things happen in ......( I'll substitute) Mansfield." Wasn't at the game , but we may have been robbed twice. LOL

Ever heard of door locks? I'd say in the future, nothing gets left in the locker room....leave duffel bags behind the bench.

The back door was locked one of the guys told the parents the lock was picked, and the front doors are right next to the benches. He said everyone there knows how to pick the locks at the school, probably have a course in that over there.RedRider1 wrote: Ever heard of door locks? You mean in the way of burglary......?
Oh, you mean Orrville is competitive in games with Senior, so it brings out the best in Senior.
sto,
sounds about right. Of course, they'd have to attend the school to actually take the course.

Big game for the Lady Riders tonight against a much improved Madison squad (6-3 league), if we can contain their big girl (Townly) and get her in foul trouble it will be much easier on us, but as much as you have witnessed none of the games except Ashland are gimmies. We need these last 4 league games to clinch sole champs.

WH has Senior and Wooster left to play...maybe we'll get some help from one of those teams.
It would really stink to have 2 league losses....none of them to WH...and yet have to share the conference title.

Wooster will bring in Larry Taylor on a 1-night only coaching contract to defeat Alberts yet again!

Wooster was no help last night. WH whooped up on the Generals yet again. Here's hoping for a Wooster win over Orrville, though I doubt it will happen.

That 9 point win was a real butt whooping of the Wooster girls. If you want to talk about a whooping, lets talk about every game your boys basketball team has played this year.
