Not too much has happened for the class of 2010 thus far.
2010
Eric Phillips will be a student coach at BGSU as soon as he walks on campus. Will be another great coach in a few years.

Darien Bryant(Transfer from Reynoldsburg)- Has a verbal offers from Toledo, Maryland, The Air Force Academy, Miami (OH), Ohio, Marshall, Kent State, YSU, Duke
Alex Huettel - Has verbal offers from BGSU, Central Michigan, Toledo, Buffalo, Akron. Committed to BGSU
Tony Traylor - Has verbal offers from Concord, ODU, NDC

What is Coach Phillips link with BGSU ??

Coach Phillips had a personal link with one of the coaches, but that coach no longer is on staff. I'm sure Coach Phillips has interacted with the rest of the staff as well seeing as Jairus, Alex, and now Eric have chosen to go there. Along with them going to the camps. Also, like many coaches, Coach Phillips is very active in recruiting and getting his kids out there.OneTiger wrote: What is Coach Phillips link with BGSU ??
I'm sure you're not implying this, but I think it is easy to see that all 3 football commits are well deserving. And Eric comes from a family of coaches so he has the background for a student-coach.

You can get a "verbal" offer anytime but you can't get a "written" offer until Sept. 1 of your junior year so I am quite sure that Bryant and Huettel have written offers and not verbal ones. Elflein and Carrurthers can pick up verbal offers anytime between now and Sept. 1 and then they could start getting written ones.

The "Drama" of the Central--North thing is irresistable sometimes-I was off work so I stopped by the baseball game for a minute(Fri)---North Lacrosse parents were yelling at the baseball umps from the top of the football stadium---way out of vision of what really happened on the play----almost every strike called on a North batter was contested--and booed by adults---------ya gotta love it------------p.s.------did North get any new asst. football coaches yet????---summer is getting close----------pnhasbeen wrote: What does that have to do at all with Pickerington North football recruits?
