The Spartans withstood a brilliant shooting performance by Taylor Battle to win a road game in Happy Valley. Battle scored 30 points on 16 shots and nailed 7/11 (3) point shots.

Kalin Lucas was prett impressive as well. Lucas hit 10/15 shots and scored 24 points. He also handed out 6 assists.

Michigan State's starting frontline combined for only 12 points. They better get better.
