But I disagree. They've had solid teams in the past with far more talent than any other team they've played and not won the gold. (-cough- Larry Brown). It isn't 1986 anymore. Countries around the world have talented players who can compete with NBA stars/players. They do this thing called "play defense, play as a team, and they can shoot jumpers"... it's weird

I really don't think it takes much coaching skill to take the 12 best players in the NBA and win a Gold medal. I think the teams before were lazy and didn't care. Winning a gold medal has finally got its luster back.
