I for one am in favor of it. I just hope he can get his life squared away and he still has alot of time to do so.

I would hope that he can also, but to be honest, I think it will be a long and bumpy road for Maurice Clarett. I don't really have any actual facts to support my feeling, but I just can't believe he will have an easy time with this.

...I believe if you do the time for your crime, let him move on. I have more respect for people that pay their dues to society than the politicians that dap dance out of crimes with soft or no jail time when people without connections do time.

I think if he has done his time he can move on. But I doubt he will do much now but screw up the rest of his life some more. I hope he won't but I think it's inevitable.

i think he will be fine legally once he gets out unless he gets into some minor trouble that doesnt require any jail time

he seems pretty sincere in his blogs

He's 26 years old and hasn't been taking the physical punishment that he would have if he had been playing football for the past 5-6 years.
If he stayed in shape while in prison, you would have to think he could still play ball at a high level.

Any chance he gets a tryout with an NFL team?

I'm betting not, but stranger things have happened...

I'm pulling for him, but the man thinks that society owes him something. I don't agree with that one bit.

In his blogs, he always talks about wanting a chance, a second chance, blah, blah, blah. He had his chance, and 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th. I am pulling for him, but I just hope he shuts up when he gets out, and we don't hear about him or from him.

There's no doubt he has the natural talent to play in the NFL, the question is whether or not he can stay out of trouble. If he's turned his life around I feel like he could at least play in the CFL ala Ricky Williams and eventually be back in the NFL. Stranger things have most definitely happened.

A very complicated situation for sure, but I worry about the poeple he was running from before he went to jail. I have heard from some reasonably informed people that he may have owed some of the wrong people money, and they are not going to forget when he gets out. I wish him the best.

I hope he gets his release and becomes an NFL player. But I doubt it.

I'll take the under on 18 months until he's back in prison again. The guy is THE definition for "waste of talent".

Unless he finds some consistent employment, he'll end up back in prison. And by consistent employment, I don't mean playing football.

If he is off the goose for good he has a chance to make his life right. Someone will give him a job I mean he is Maurice Clarett and all his name still bears some weight around Ohio. I wonder if the Senator will give him any help? I mean I am sure TP needs a stereo installed or something.
