I believe Centerville is at the Fairfield District. So someone else gets a shot at the 4th spot.

He has not wrestled Herrara, although you can't go wrong with the hand of Coach Grant. It isn't anti-McCurdy sentiment, just the results. Murdock, Marsico and Edwards all exit the same sectional, so those are 3 quarter brackets.

I think Taylor could win at 130, although Kunzi is nice.

West North getting lots of love on here. Can't wait to see them live.

Agree'd ^^^^^^

Timchenko, Longwell, Strope, Boyd, Mcdougal.....There is a nice group of 112's that are going to be banging. You can't overlook any of these guys.

Cat out of bag moment... Back when I used to do anonymous rankings under the screen name darkhorse77, I would try to remind myself that I didn't know enough about the incoming SW sectional to make an honest pick for those guys. So I would try to figure one in the top four seeing as how they were one-fourth the district tournament. It only makes sense, right?

WKWAW: 130 looks right on to me. If you don't like the way it looks, do something about it! ;)

DirtyScramble: Well done. And yes, Timchenko (OO) isn't bad.

How does the district work? Do the losers in the quarters drop down into losers bracket, and still have a shot at going for 3rd?

Sure do. But remember, in the quarterfinal round of the champinoship, the losers cross-bracket down to the consolation.

The first round of consolation consists of the losers of the 1st round. Let's say lines #2 and #3 lose. Lines #2 and #3 will wrestle in the consolation preliminaries and face the loser of the bottom quarterfinal, which in this case we will call the loser of #16 and #13. For arguments sake, we'll go with #13 as the loser. #3 won against #2 and thus gets to face #13 (who lost to line #16. It was a close match, though. 5-4 with a controversial non-two call as the time ran out AND they were going out of bounds. Could have gone either way, I guess.)

I have an Excel worksheet already made up if you want...

I'll be surprised if Gordon (DS) can win it all at the District level. He needs a hair cut. You can't show up to Darby with an unkempt mop. That stuff has to be tight. See you soon, shnook'ms! ;)

Any truth of the Hughes (GC) move to 152? If so, how does that change those two weight classes?

Similarly, anybody see that Sulzer wrestled 171 over the weekend??? Demas (WN) is there. Marsh (M) gets a wild hair and bumps up and the cat from Springboro shows up and all the sudden, things just got crowded quick like! Or they all go 160!!!!!! Good night I love the District tournament.

ps: 189: Brown (GL) ain't bad.

I've got to think either Shivener or Riegle will be at 130.

I think the top two at heavyweight are a lock. Number three is Cullen, clearly step behind one and two, but a clear step in front of the rest of the feild, but that last spot is up for grabs.
