is there going to be a +1 or +2 weight allowance at sectionals if there are any more closing and delays for schools this week ?

I believe that we only get a pound if school is cancelled on Friday.

Hmmm... pretty sure you all understand... you just don't agree. That's the good thing about wrestling coaches... you don't have to agree and you're all still good coaches.

If there is school on Friday then there will be no extra weight allowance. If there is not school on Friday then youGet an extra pound.

I agree Maddog! It is getting a little off subject! I also agree they are 2 of the best coaches! Lets get back on what this thread is really about!

Whoa, whoa, whoa! Please! Keep talking about us. It feeds my narcissism!!!

I'd love to quote the line from Me, Myself and Irene right about now, but I haven't memorized it.

We'll certainly have a clearer picture for this thread in about three days. Good luck to all and see you at Darby!

11. Watkins Memorial 112 119 125 130 135 140 145 152 160 171

So... Watkins... Mr. Jayne... you have a 140 going to sectionals on Saturday, but you didn't have a 140 tonight for a wee little dual. Ok... frustrating... we haven't had the quality of make up schedule that the crusiers have been able to put together... so I'm venting my frustration at a hole in the Watkins line up. Boo... and the Franklin Heights line up (ok... I get that one) and the Deleware lineup... what kind of OCC are we wrestling in?

Anyone hear of any kids being eneligable, or not making weight, or getting injured, who will not be able to wrestle in the sectional tournaments? Just curious.

Its not a perfect OCC. Central Crossing was a good example. You need your community to back your schools to help them have a good team clear across the board. If you have a wrestler healing right before the sectionals, why risk more injury to a more experienced wrestler?

I think Mr. Jayne has been around long enough to know what he is doing.:):):)

After seeing Marysville for the first time this season today, I think that they will be hard to beat at districts..

They have 4 potential finalists in the big 3(virtual locks) and Forrider..I was really impressed with this kid..Along with 2-3 other potential qualifiers..

When I left Watkins sectional they were leading after the 160 finals with TV second..MV had 4 champs and 2 2nds(with Weeks still to wrestle)..TV had 3 champs and 2 2nds..
