Peyton Manning was nothing but gracious in defeat during the post game press conference. If Lebrick had done that same thing, answered the questions and acted like a man then the media would have given him a break. But he chose the low road and paid for it.

Eh I really don't care about the whole Kobe-Lebron debate or the Peyton Manning/Lebron thing either. I'm really just a bystander. It is just that every time there is a Lebron thread, you have two sides (Lakers fans, Cavs fans) and both sides ALWAYS say the same thing. coaches are a little different, they both know where the other was located at on the sideline and have a police escort onto the field. players dont have that. and how many of those other players that congratulated each other were on the trophy stage and being interviewed seconds after the final whistle? Kobe walked off the floor during a meaningless regular season game, are we really comparing that? Big fucking deal, I said the same thing about LeBron and Manning. Nowhere in the rule book does it say anything about shaking another players hand. And I would be willing to bet a good amount of money that Bron called or texted Howard later that night or the next day.

I do have a question that you won't answer though Skyhook...why get all over LeBron's ass for ONE game where he stormed off the court, when aside from that he's been a model citizen and a good role model, especially when it comes to sportsmanship? 1 vs. hundreds of examples--one time means nothing right? I mean that's the way you think about other things, right?

James is the best player in the game even I won’t argue that point. Manning may have shown up for the post game presser, but he didn't show up in the game. That pick 6 is all I will ever remember of Manning in this Super Bowl. At least Lebron plays his ass off in every game he is in, including the one where he "stormed" off the court. Huh? I might take this at face value if Manning hadn't won a Championship, but he has. How can somebody who has won a championship be a choker? Because Manning could have put his team in position to win and couldn't do it. The first SB the Colts won with Manning wasn't even because of Manning, it was Rhodes, I believe, that led them to a win and he should've won the MVP.jordo212000 wrote:Huh? Lebron will win more titles when his career is over than Manning will have. It also took Manning something like 9 years to win a title. We'll see if Lebron can get a win within his first 9 seasons. Lebron is in his 7th and the Cavs have a good shot at winning.
Lebron puts his team in positions to win, he just usually gets no help (in the playoffs). Manning is the only one to blame for that pick 6. Terrible throw and read. He must shoulder most the blame for that loss. He couldn't even score when they were within the redzone, what, three times in the second half? Choke artist.
