here's a funny story:

every semester when I lived in the dorms we went out as a floor to bdubs and we got $5 so we always went, cuz that's $5 more bucks to spent!

Anyways, my RA last year was gay. We only had 7 people on the floor plus him. It was no big deal. We didn't care. However, we all had the habit of saying "gay" and calling each other "faggots." We aren't PC screw you. So we all talked about it how we were going to have to watch it. So we get there and we start talking about nonsense. One of the guys on the floor makes the statement "that's gay as aids." Pin. Drop. Floor. The guy realizes his epic mistake and looks down and starts eating and I continue the conversation real quickly.

It was worth a good laugh later.

When the hell are they gonna finaaly round up all these queers and make lampshades outta em. Not to mention the blacks and the jews.....

They tried to that once I think. It worked for a while. I think it'd work better if we tried it now though.

However, the other groups that I have mentioned DO advocate for themselves, so why no movement?

This has become confusing at best.

Is your issue with the "gay commercials"....or is it with the other groups?

It sounds like your issues lie with the other groups. These commercials exist because a group took action. Other groups seemingly have not felt the need to take this same action.

Doesn't seem too difficult, IMO.

My issue is the fact that they felt they needed to take action.


I'm not homophobic or anything like that; just don't see the need for it.
