Not sure why that meat thread was locked. That's pretty lame. And I agree, it's pretty clear who was getting emotional in that thread haha.

Keep telling yourself that.

Oh, no! Am I having another "homoerotic obsession" with you again? Ha Ha Ha!

I find it funny that any of you take this shit seriously, or think that I get "emotional" over someone or something that affects nothing but my time on this website.

This forum really is Serious Business....

To address the original question...

1. No threats, keep it civilized. You can call someone out for saying something stupid, just don't make it personal.
2. Do not reveal someone's identity. If you want us to know who you are feel free to tell, but give everyone else that freedom as well.
3. Keep it safe for work. That means no nudity, no swearing in thread titles and limiting the swearing as much as possible in posts. Profanity isn't banned but keep it under control.

I don't think some posters can string together a sentence without tossing in a swear word or 3. Its not that tough people, and this is coming from someone who has no issue dropping them.

And I will confirm it was NOT LJ who closed that thread. If you scroll to the bottom of the page in the forum, or the forum list, you can select Forum Team. This lets you see moderators, and which forums they can moderate.

So basically there is a huge gray area. unless that is, if someone can define what "keeping it under control means". if i say the f-word 3 times, well i can argue i controlled myself from saying it 5 times haha.

I personally don't use it to get my point across. If others do, that doesn't totally bother me, but, I find that I type (close to) how I speak, and I usually don't drop the F bomb too much.

Agreed. I curse, but never in public, and only around my friends who I know aren't offended by it. It's really just a respect thing. I don't feel the need to drop f-bombs on here, because I know there are people here who don't like it. I once had a Psychology professor say something that has stuck w/ me, and I'm paraphrasing, "Using curse words, especially in an argument, shows a general lack of vocabulary and intelligence".

I don't feel the need to drop f-bombs on here but I like that we can be adults.

I also find it funny that rydawg's crying like a little girl on here gets him nowhere.

Go back to JJ if you wanna be a little bitch.

How am I crying when I ask to "limit' the use of 1 word that is supposed to be used scarcely in the first place?

I also find it funny that as soon as I had become a moderator at JJ, Superman cried and cried like a little girl about it. He couldn't stop his obsession with bashing me until he was banned for life.

So the real cry baby would be you. I just think that Freehuddle (The name I, yes I , came up with) is limiting it's usership and fullest potential by having an extreme amount of vulgarity in every thread.

I don't mind cussing when it's needed, JJ is way too strict.

But you can't call me a girl about something when you were the biggest baby on the other site, and you still are an immature little jackass on this one.

You cried to JJ to be a mod and I pointed out it was a bad idea because you were an immature little kid. You cried to get me banned. Then I was proven right when you couldn't handle being a mod. Now you are over here crying and have no power to do anything about it and I think it's funny.

A lot of people "cried" to be a mod, but only people that were nominated were even considered. The only reason I became a mod was because of other people's requests. I don't know why that happened, but it did.

I didn't cry ever, you were banned like other people who bashed people for no reason.

I didn't bash anyone. I pointed out how you weren't fit to be a mod. (and it appears I was right, btw)

I didn't think I was fit either. However, I lasted much long than I thought I would have (That's what she said) and.. The only reason I was demoted was because of NL CR FAN reporting everyone under the sun.

I just started deleting her complaints on the private forum. She realized it and told JJ.

So we have found common ground and both agree that NL CR FAN is a stupid whore?

I'm good with a truce, if you are.

I think that there is probably more cussing on here than is necessary, but that's just the way I feel about it and I can live with some profanity. I use it from time to time, but I do try to be judicial in my use of those words. I enjoy the high school sports threads the most, primarily because I am very interested in the topics and there is little if any cussing on those threads. I think the most overused word is the f word and for some reason, that seems to have become the most popular word of it's genre out there. For the life of me, I don't have any fucking idea why that seems to be true.
