Had a great time last night at Nationwide...it was a great game to take in. The crowd was into it all night. I would agree that there were some goons last night in Sabres gear. I was in section 102 and we had 4 winners a couple rows in front of us.

The jackets are 9 pts out of a spot. An epic run could be possible, if the guys believe it can happen. The talent is certainly there.

Wasn't his name like Hilliarddad or something like that? I remember defending Russell time after time from that ass clown.

I remember that. I also remember making the comparison between the slow development of Russell and Scott Niedermayer, drawing numerous parallels between the two.

And since early December, that's exactly who Russell has looked like.

There are so many Buffalo transplants in Columbus and the surrounding area it's crazy. They consider Columbus "moving south" and a "climate change". My gf meets at least 1 person from Buffalo every week (she is from Buffalo herself) and OSU only takes 40 out of state vet students per year and 5 from her class alone are from Buffalo. Pretty crazy. Probably why you saw SO many Sabres fans.

average snowfall for Buffalo is 91"
Columbus is 28"

Although my gf says that winter driving in Buffalo is much better than it is here. Her small town of 5,000 has more plows than the city of Columbus.

22 games left, 9 points out. I think it is possible. Call me a dreamer, but there is a chance. Hope the team doesn't share your attitude.

Blue Jackets are playing more uptempo since Hitchcock's departure. Buffalo had a lot of fans there last night. Sold out crowd with plenty of energy.

I'm not even sure I would want to make the playoffs at this point. We are in a really good position to get a solid draft pick. Even if we did make the playoffs, its not like we would win the whole thing. So I'd like to build on our future. We have the cornerstones in place. Lets build on this.

Blue Jackets need to tank for a chance at Cam Fowler (sarcasm)

Looked good last night. Hopefully they can continue the trend and rack up a few more wins before the Olympic break.
