if you have an elderly neighbor help them out instead of allowing them to do something that's too much for them.

How do you clean your sidewalk/driveway? Got the old shovel for me, and a jeep to drive up and down my driveway to make a path.

Snow blower. Shoveling is for the birds.

I have a small driveway, so I shovel. It sucked this morning. Heavy snow!

Living in a condo it is done by a private company...included in my monthly condo fees. I do miss shoveling sometimes, just sometimes.

The older I get, the less likely it is that I will grab the shovel and start clearing snow like the pioneers. I usually just grab the snowblower and get after it. I try to make sure that all the older folks on our street are attended to...(although my wife and I may be the oldest people on our little block!)

no elderly neighbors here on campus. Guess that makes me exempt from community service for the day
