I met Captain Sig and his two brothers at Walt Disney World (Epcot) last summer at a signing event. Great, great guys who don't see themselves as celebrities, but men who love there work.
Sad to see Captain Phil pass on...I'm sure he would have guessed it would have been due to the Barren Sea rather than due to his lifestyle.
p.s.
This upcoming season was supposed to be the last, even if these events had not have transpired.

sad day for this old guy...........one of my favorites........RIP old man. hope they bury him or his ashes at sea cause that is where they belong!
