I agreed with Boomer's opinion on Ocho Stinko, I made no reference to the Steelers or our fans..........you did! Yet, I'm the hypocrit? Standard free huddle protocol when it concerns fans in the minority.Pick6 wrote: I like how you steelers fans absolutely hate ochocinco..saying he creates distractions, etc. I really think you want him out of cinci because you know he is a legit threat that your weak secondary(excluding polamalu) have to face 2 times a year.
Lamar Woodley talking trash about teams laying down, when he should be concentrating on a game that the steelers needed to win to even have a chance for the playoffs.
Or Hines Ward calling Ben out for not playing with a concussion...hmm WR calling his QB out.. I think thats a distraction.

I love it, another nerve struck! Maybe they should give out pacifiers when you register on this site.Pick6 wrote: My post was not directly to you, but to steelers fan in general. And you obviously have some bias/hate against chad seeing that you call him ocho stinko like a little kid.
If you have a problem being a minority, why dont you go find a little notre dame fan site and a steelers site, and go jerk off to how brian kelly is going to save notre dame and fat ben is the best ever qb.

Those are the typical freehuddle responses when you get owned and are so clueless you can't come up with a better reply. While trying to avoid the entire pissing match, as a Steeler fan, I will comment on a handful of things.
1. Chad: I think Boomer's a bit off-base. He's been what I'd consider to be a distraction in the past from time to time, but this year he seemed kind of rejuvenated mentally. If he was going to be a distraction, you'd have constantly heard him bitching because the team went to a more run-oriented offense. As far as Pick6's Post #16 comment that Steeler fans want him gone out of some fear of him being a threat...no. He's made plays against the Steelers, just like other receivers have. But really...what was the difference between this year's 2-0 performance against Pittsburgh and the average year in recent times (where going 1-1 was an accomplishment for the Bengals)? Defense and a powerhouse rushing game. The pick-six in the first game allowed their late comeback lead to a real victory, instead of a "we fought the entire game" moral victory. The second game was decided by a return of some sort (can't remember if it was a kickoff, punt or pick, but I do remember it provided the six-point differential), but I thought the real difference was that the Bengals seemed to control the ball and their defense was just out-of-this-world awesome. Chad? I'm sure he made plays and contributed, but his 7/83 performance over those two games combined makes him just another random dude. Nothing to be feared and nobody to care about, as far as if he's with the Bengals or someone else.
2. Durkies: The team lost to a bunch of inferior teams and beat a bunch of playoff teams. That means they were an inconsistent team that played to the level of whomever they were playing. Good enough to beat the best. Bad enough to lose to the worst. Can't take one of those two and make it the ONLY determining factor in whether they were good or shitty. They were good some weeks, shitty others, finished 9-7 and on the outside looking in due to tiebreakers. That defines mediocre...not good, shitty or any other adjective.

If anything, Chad has helped out the Bengals in ways people don't even imagine.
If it wasn't for Chad Johnson (yep, I'm calling him Johnson since he lost his bet) has taken the heat away from the very overrated Carson Palmer.
I think Carson should vouch for Chad to stay as long as he's there.

I have been ripping on Chad Johnson's antics since they started. I would not want a player like CJ on my team or in my locker room. Too many distractions. He might be a great person, do a lot for charity, and be a lot of fun, but when it comes down to winning football games, the childish "look at me" mentality rarely gets it done.
Considering he has as many playoff victories as I do, I feel my opinion is vindicated.

No, because he is a punk, selfish person who is only looking out for himself. I'll bet you that Palmer could pick at least 20 different recievers in the league right now that he would rather have on his team than Noshow.Pick6 wrote: because he celebrates after he scores a touchdown just like every other player in the nfl?

Ward and Chad dont belong in the same sentence and you know it. Ward plays the game to better his team. Stinko plays the game to better his celebrity status.
Ward-- 2 rings
Stinko- Total of 8 playoff quarters- showed up for none.

The only argument I am in is that Chad is a selfish, arrogant human...He goes out of his way constantly to interact with his fans and to do the little things that mean a lot to a family who just lost a kid. But you can't see that because you are so far up big bens hairy asshole and want to suck Wards cock.Al Capone wrote: No, you're just in an argument that you cant win ASSHOLE.

I'm just saying that you cant win in the nfl with players like Stinko and Blowens(owens). The nfl is about T.E.A.M. Your record over the last 10 years proves my statement. All you ignorant Bungal fans brag about how good Palmer is. What the hell has he done in the nfl?

The Bengals didn't win because they haven't had that solid of a team to begin with. They were average to a little above average and that was good enough to get them into the playoffs but besides that they weren't anything special. It had nothing to do with chads antics you fucking artard, it had everything to do with the fact they played teams that were better, besides maybe when Carson blew his knew out.
Quit blaming Chad because you have some personal loath towards him and realize that as TEAM, the bengals weren't anything special.
