7 to 8 Inches of snow is not that big of a deal …….
But the idea of using it as an excuse to do nothing is a nice thought.

So what are you doing or preparing to do if you do get snowed in?

I’m heading to the grocery later to pick up stuff to do some great gourmet cooking (thinking Cajun Gumbo or Stuffed Pork Chops), make some homemade chicken soup and lots of appetizer for the Supper Bowl. (I enjoy cooking)
Clean my pistols, clear out the basement a little, finish putting away some of the Christmas stuff, finish the baseboard in the sun room, clean the dogs ears, could wax the hardwood floors (to much work), change the oil in my jeep……Ok week end planned. Call the guy to scrap my driveway.

Just went outside. I don't even know what you call it - combination of rain, snow, sleet, ice. Could get nasty if this stuff continues.

Got plenty of gas for the generator, fridge is stocked, ready for about anything. Being a boy scout helped.

Going to head to the grocery store with the wife to pick up some supplies. I'll grab some steaks. Grilling in the snow is great. Also essential to weathing any snow storm is plenty of beer.

I have to drive from NW Ohio to Anna tonight to referee, in a 2009 FWD Honda Accord Sedan. I'm really hoping that the snow misses us.

Hitting the grocery store this morning getting the goods for a couple of days. Can't forget a pack of smokes for the wife and a case of beer for me. Probably carry in some firewood before the storm starts just in case.

I live about 60 miles south of Columbus. School was just canceled for the day.

The grocery stores were packed last night from Marion to Columbus.

Left for the Blue Jackets game around 5 and every single one I passed on the way down was filled to capacity in the parking lot.

In fact there was a Giant Eagle in Columbus where people were waiting in the street to turn into the paring lot.

People here have a heart attack if 2-3 inches are expected.

Must be extreme NWO if you are expecting less than an inch.
