killdeer you may know where this happened. TH 95 and 47, east of Wharton. If you know the area, there is a funky intersection there where you have to stop twice, and the crossing traffic has a curve.

Just reading about this as well. Been a rough few weeks for the patrol to say the least.

Haven't heard anything about that yet. I hope that's not the case.

Just saying that in the article you posted it said they lost control of the vehicle, which leads me to believe that they were driving very fast when they probably didn't need to. I've seen cops do this on occassion.

Just my assumptions, I could be way off.

It say's responding to an accident, so most likely going with lights and sirens at a higher rate of speed...

Prayers should be the only comments on this matter!!!

Reminds me of the Trooper who flew past me the other night at a speed over over 85mph in a 40 around a curve.... He gunned it to beat me to the 2 lanes change into 1 lane intersection... and had NO LIGHTS OR SIREN ON!!! I was pissed!!

Driving very fast when they probably didn't need to? They were responding to a back-up call from a deputy sheriff who was himself responding to a call of a possible home invasion! Let me ask you a question, how fast would you want the cops to get there if it was your home?

Just fast enough so they don't wreck their car on the way.
