I agree. However, when a so-called moderator keeps bumping this to the top with any comment at all? You are contributing to the problem, not helping it.
Oh, I completely agree. And considering that just shortly before, I'd posted on another thread that a big problem here is that when people make stupid threads (like this one), instead of ignoring them and letting them die quickly, other people constantly feed the flames...my innate hypocrisy does get quickly exposed.
But having to deal with mt is a unique situation. He never really crosses the line into ban-hammer offenses (his worst stuff is PG compared to what many others do), but he is, as I said, a fish out of water...who doesn't have the common sense to not take every tiny piece of bait offered to him and respond.
Whether I (or any other mod) says anything in response to him means nothing if all the other people annoyed by him pile on when he does things like start this thread and then make a bunch of "get off my thread" responses. My hope is that he (if he is a high school freshman) gets the idea his act isn't amusing to the vast majority of the site and tones things down. And if that doesn't happen, I can only hope the people who suspect he isn't a high school freshman are correct, so he can be purged.
