As others have noted Murphy, Carlin, and Kinneson are tops. I am going to throw in a dark horse-- Robin Harris. The man was hilarious. Tragically, he died so young.

Well, for one, and probably the most important reason, is that the op asked for "your all time favorite stand up comedy?". Not a difficult concept to grasp.

Well, for one, and probably the most important reason, is that the op asked for "your all time favorite stand up comedy?". Not a difficult concept to grasp.
It's implied that when you start a thread asking for someone's favorite XXXXX that in your reply not only are you supposed to post your favorite, but belittle someone else's choice. I edited my first post to reflect this.

We'll call it even on opinions, Daniel Tosh didn't do anything for me as Eddie does nothing for you. I do say that this thread was intended for comedy not opinions that would belong in another thread, but at least we are both honest about it. I regress
