And hott soccer moms.

I used to live right next to this big soccer complex. On the weekends during the youth tournaments that placed was packed with hot soccer moms, each one trying to outdo the others with their mini-van sluttines. It was MILF Mania at its finest.

Good times

I don't care for soccer, but I don't feel that there is anything wrong with it.

Like any sport, it takes hard work, commitment, and training to excel. I respect anyone who does those things.

If my sons want to play soccer (I did when I was little), I'll go and I'll probably even volunteer to coach or help out with the team.

Bashing it certainly isn't very mature...even if it is your attempt to combat Sage's ignorant thread.

Tell that to Demarcus Beasley who's car got firebombed yesterday in Scotland by a crazy fan. I would venture to guess that if you did a sports stars challenge a soccer player would finish near the top with overall athletism

My son's would have an easier time telling their father they were gay than if they wanted to play soccer.

Oh wait, it's the same thing.

At what stage of soccer do they teach you to fall down and scream in pain for getting touched?

And how much does that magic dust cost that the trainer rubs on the players legs to miraculously get the players life threatening injury to go away?

A very accurate description of the sport.

it is also very beneficial for elementary kids....much better option than pee wee football especially since they switched it to mostly flag leagues. they get more benfits with coordination and fitness from the soccer.

Lol @ this thread.

Guarantee that most soccer players are more "manly," whatever the hell that means, than 99% of people on this thread.

And, all the "gay" comments are probably coming from football players that play a sport that involves tackling dudes from behind, piling on, grunting, tight pants, and other "gay" activities.

If Football players are so tough why do they feel the need to wear all those protective pads???

Soccer is closer to Rugby ( a real "manly" sport) than American football is.

I agree that Rugby is very physical and demanding.

I couldn't disagree any more that's it's closer to soccer than American football is.

I've seen more acting in a soccer match than a high school play.

My second cousin played for Juventus and the Italian National team ... sadly, I never got a chance to meet him during my single years and play wingman while hitting the Milan nightclubs haha

No one has answered why Football players need so many protective pads.

They need protective pads to reduce the risk of injury and enable them to continue normal play following the potential violent contact that exist each snap of the ball.

Cuz there's so many bones and organs to protect. Seems obvious to me. There's no contact in other sports with the frequency that there is in football.
