I agree with that to a point. Creek must go 7-3 to have any chance. St.C will be a loss. Ferry they have a small chance at. It might come down to Edison. Week ten could have a huge impact for both schools.

If IC holds it together after losing to STC and Ferry and they beat HC and Bellaire then the Edison game will be a playoff game for both schools . TV 9 get ready . That probably should be game of the week . Id like to see that one if it comes to a playoff apperance. May have too .

If Edison goes 7-3 they are in because they beat Oak Glen . I think they will have 7 wins comming into the IC game maybe 8 because I think they will be the team to upset ST C at home If IC beats a 7-2 Edison team then they are both in . and then the fun begins . You guys must root against Dover and a few other teams along the way . one more slip up from Dover and its that much easier for both Edison and IC and even HC for that matter . That is your wild card team . They can beat anybody on a given friday

You disagree with my post and I will disagree with this one... We have a MUCH better shot at beating St. C. than we do Ferry. Less you forget that we were down 21-7 against St. C. last year and come back to tie it with a minute to go in the game? They won because their kicker could boot a ball a country mile. Ferry blanked us last year... However, stranger things have happened with Ferry so who knows. I am thinking about BL right now and that ALL I am worried about. We are better, we have better depth, we have very good coaching, and we have the edge... I believe we will win this week but by how much depends on our offense. If we continue to commit penalties and stall our drives we will win a close one. If our offense wakes up then bring on St. C.

Oak Glen is going to rack up some MONSTER points this year. We really needed to beat them. I think we will be ok witht he John Hay win, but last year we beat both... I would much rather trade the loss to weir for a win against OG.

SOS, Im not a big fan at pointing fingers at last year.

You are the eternal optimist when it comes to creek. I respect that and appreciate your passion.

I think as a team we are not at the level we need to be at. Offense is my biggest concern. Coaching at times I just shake my head. Against Oak Glen we are fourth and one inside the ten and we dont give the ball to Otto. Then why in Gods name would we kick away to Rowland (sp) and then come back and do it again . I did like seeing Adam running some last week, but once again fourth down and a long one and we sweep Adam wide. Again, Otto up the middle. Every game, calls stall the offense. Perhaps Im being a little critical, but this team is so close to the next level and seems to not be able to reach out and get it. I also like alot of the younger players stepping up and making a difference.

Ferry is going to take a hit or two this year . I think they are paper Riders this year and the polls even agree and they usually always have them in the top 5 . They barely beat Buckeye . If somebody has the desire and game plan Ferry can be delt with . Who has the attitude to do it ? You have to be more than grumpy you have to be down right mean and angry and play down hill It can be done

Wow went to the 9th grade game today and smashed buckeye 40-0. Good job freshmen and #39 my son Justin Bowers. The way i see it creek is still 3-1 and played in some ugly games. But creek got some nice talent and some coming up to Varsity soon. They just need to stop the self inflicted wounds! And for the sake of the game play with some intensity. creek is a lot better then they look. Determination and they would have been 4-0. have to play 4 quarters of football. They have the tools. Just need to utilize them.

Yes it does. But you have to have a coach with the talent too. a good coach can take a team with little to no talent and make them believe in them self's and i seen that happen before. I witnessed a team with little to no talent go 10-0 and got 2 wins in the playoffs and lost the 3rd game by bad call by a official.

Hopefully they'll stay home instead of migrating down to the river.
