No, it won't get ugly here. This isn't the other place. It's all in fun, as long as everyone can keep a cool head about it. Bantering back and forth is great, but that banter can't get carried away like some of it has.

Some people have thicker skin than others .
Ive seen some stuff on here that got my attention and blood pressure up . Thats all good and fine . I mean some people will have facts in order and others wont ,or others will even lie just to get at people .

I am pretty sure Chiefs got his message through... This place isn't like the old days, I would take Chief's presence and quick response as a sign you and I will not revisit the Sonofsam/Thickthinbigred84 days...

If you are really wondering about the B8 conference, Ferry and St.C. are always tough to beat. IC has a very good team this year and should contend for the B8 title. More importantly we want to go back to the playoffs. Win the B8 and you will get a playoff bid. The team chemistry is second to none at IC this year. These kids have worked very hard to prepare for this year and a run at the playoffs. We blanked Weir with 3 or 4 key defensive players out with injury and the team has rallied around the chemistry to accomplish their goals. Yes Otto is a beast... He plays at IC and he is getting D1 looks (Who woulda thought you could D1 schools to look at Creek right? Otto made some very nice hits last night as well as a forced fumble which we recovered. Another kid to keep an eye on is a youngster... A freshman named Blake Roar. He saw a lot of varsity time last night, he is good size and plays the game well. He had a couple of nice hits as well. Creek is looking at every game as the link to week 11. They will not look past the task at hand. The goal is to win them all and surprise a lot of people.

You must be kidding SOS. I thought Big Red was the only school to get D1 looks?

Amazing what can happen when a kid has dedication, athletic talent, and heart... He could have went to Big Red (would have NEVER happened) and scored a really nice D3 offer...

This a nice attempt to take a SHOT at BIG RED but last I checked there is a BIG sign in town that says something like, "Steubenville Athletes go places" and correct me if I'm wrong but those looked like D1 schools ..... Did I miss the one about CREEK ?

Why does every Creek thread end up going to the BR directon? Enough enoughs already. If we get a chance to meet in the playoffs than great but since they don't play each other this year let it go.

I wasn't taking about Big Red. I was talking about what Creek can do now that they no longer play Big Red. And since you found post number two why don't you look up post number three.

I would like to say that i hope creek can pull out a playoff spot this year. I am from the Mahoning Vally Youngstown area. I moved down here a little over 6 years ago. My son now plays for the 8th grade creek team. he is number 50 on D! I really wish he could play for my old school the Campbell memorial red devils! But I'm happy he plays for creek also. a Great school system and good sports! I use to be a Red Devil But the Indian made me do it!

Not a lot of talk on here about Creek. Thats a good thing though hopefully we will be able to sneak our way through the season and into the playoffs.

You guys have to win this game and the Oak Glen game .and You have to beat Edison and atleast split your confrence . I think you will make the post season this year . That Otto kid will carry alot of weight , on your success.

Is that a misprint beating Berea 29-3? Did they get that score backwords ?

Berea only won one game last year so it's not that much of a surprise, but i'd at least like to know some details. IC should win but if they have the athletes, it may be an interesting game.

I just hope that because it rained today , they don't cancel the game, mess up any chance of making the playoffs, or the fields to bad like last years Martins ferry cancellation on the same night as the BR vs massillon game ......

I ventured over to Wintersville to take in this game. Worst display of organized football I ever seen. Neither team could move the ball. Had to be 30 penalties in the game. Creek wins 7-6. Cant wait to hear Sams take on it.

I to also went back to the site of my former almamater. That was one of the worst penalized games I have ever witnessed. John Hay was not a bad team,very undisciplined. Cannot say much better of IC. The coaches "fight" at the end was not very good to have your kids see either.
