Yeah, I agree. Not so sure the live episode is the way to go for this show.
Probably something they won't be doing all that often, or at all, in the future.

Better than I expected.
Easy challenge.
The commentators were douche bags, but I think they were trying to overplay their announcer position.

I couldn't sit and watch the episode..To corny and retarded in my opinion which was definitely a letdown. Only reason they did Shula was to get his place some airtime, probably could have gotten a more ridiculous challenge seeing as it is Miami

The commentators are the two brothers who run Major League Eating (MLE) and International Federation of Competitive Eating (IFOCE)-- the promote the Nathans July 4 hot dog contest, among others. Their involvement also explains Chesnutt's recent appearances.dazedconfused wrote: the commentators had me rolling...i hope they were joking lol

Well...It WAS Miami, over SB weekend....so I can totally see why they did that Shula challenge. Made total sense to me.DeyDurkie5 wrote: I couldn't sit and watch the episode..To corny and retarded in my opinion which was definitely a letdown. It was a bit awkward how they did it but I kinda got used to it.
Was that younger Shula the one that used to caoch teh Bengals? If so...still my fav line on radio when Andy Furman, then of WLW 700 in Cincy, said Shulas only qualification for that job was he was "Sperm lucky"

I heard he said something about feeling like an oreo when he was standing in between Dhani Jones and Keith Rivers. Did anybody else catch that?

Tried watching it, but got pretty bored. They definitely did not need two hours for that.
