First of all I am fat, so talking about a show that encourages over eating is my kind of thing.

That being said, is anyone planning on watching the Man vs. Food 2 hour live event tonight? If so, how do you think it will go? Personally, I think it will be below average. I prefer to see him visit different places and sample the food not just stay in one place and take the challenges.

I love the show. Don't think I've missed an episode.

What time is it on tonight? I thought the "Live" event was on Super Bowl Sunday????

BTW...did anyone catch the 10 Greatest moments show last night? I thought that was a good recap.

The replay for those interested in DVRing it will be at 1am. If your home by then you can set it up and watch later at your convenience like I am doing.

I don't see what the big deal about a 48oz steak when he already ate a bigger steak at the big Texan restaurant. There's gotta be a catch, maybe 2 48oz steaks or something

I'm not sure, but I think that's supposed to be a 48 oz. steak AND a milkshake.

Definitely gonna be watching since I absolutely love this show. I've really been watching what I eat lately, so watching the show is kind of frustrating, but I just can't turn away. I didn't start watching until Season 2, but through repeats, I have now seen every episode except for Boston, New Orleans, and Durham in Season 1 and Detroit in Season 2.

I like this show, too. It also makes me get hungry at a late hour.

I have been known to sneak down into the refrig to have a snack when it is on.

The Big Texan was a 72oz Steak, along with a baked potato, a salad, and something else I dont recall. That was a ridiculous meal and he downed it in like 32 minutes.

The something else is a shrimp cocktail. I did this one about seven-eight years ago. Was sick for two days afterwards.

He's eating a 48 oz. steak tonight, but the catch is that he has to finish it in 20 minutes or less.

Should be pretty interesting. I'd say he does it since he demolished the Big Texan pretty quickly.

He should down it. As I said before. He had an hour to finish the Big Texan.

72oz Steak
Baked Potato
Salad
Shrimp Cocktail

Done in 32 minutes.

Yeah, 32 minutes for that meal is just insane.

Unbelievable that he finished it that quickly.
