The best part about this is................Accuweather reporting Tues/Weds expect a Winter storm to follow this same path. Producing close to the same amounts of snow.

6 inches so far in DC. But, it is now just starting to ratchet up. It is now pretty close to whiteout. Already power out for many people. Suppose to be 20-25 inches and snow will continue to fall till 10pm tomorrow.

DC Metro just announced the stoppage of above ground lines and buses.

The owner would never let me leave early. Just 30 minutes to go. Even with my 50 + hours this week. Been driving this for 20 some years. I will just take my time. I'll make it.
Thanks for thinking of me September....
You made it home ok. How was the drive?

Scattered power outages around Lancaster. No suprise with the heaviness of the snow and now the winds. Hard to measure the depth here in Lancaster but I will go with 5.5 moving on 6 as its coming down now.

We are on the far western end of this storm over here in Ohio. From the looks of the radar you guys in DC are just getting started. The good news is we can depend on a snow storm to limit the Federal Government for at least a few days.:D

what part of western ross

i went in the ditch about a half hour before you posted that on co rd 87(frankfort/clarksburg pike). that slush from earlier and the snow we were getting then made it slick, got sucked into it by some slush.

Just outside Bainbridge, close to Pike county line. Haven't been outside for a while but looks like we have 5-6" here in the hills, not sure about towards Chillicothe.

I got rained out Friday nite for the World of Outlaws races. It quit raining so we went bar hopping. Damn now its 4am and y'all gettin snowed under. Its cleared out and 60 here now. I'm going to the ARCA and Bud Shootout races , Zac Brown is playing afterward in the infield. Then an hour to Titusville and watching the last night shuttle launch at 4:39am Sunday, then fishing at sunrise in mosquito lagoon. Outlaw sprint cars Sunday nite. Eddie Money in a free concert next week at the riverfront park. Tim McGraw playing a few tunes before the 500. After speedweeks its winterjam VW surf, skate, music fest , bike week, spring break, wanee music festival , then 6 months of summer.

Looks like the spin of this thing may keep snow piling up here in Ohio today. Possible 1-3 additional today, but the DC area is going to continue to get hammered all day.

This is a big one.....love it.
