It won't be an easy game at Norwayne, they have been playing much better lately. If they can get Wallace and Davis going inside early then it should be in single digits, but I don't see an upset happening. The weather doesn't look to bad, there is still a weather advisory til 4 but that shouldnt have an affect on the games tonight in the county, most of them short trips.

norwayne is definitely dangerous, especially if the bulldogs are looking ahead. Would appreciate any scores as i couldn't make it tonight

thanks - guess they weren't looking ahead. I know lint has been sick - did he play in this game? Now for the smithies tomorrow night.

Lint played most of the game. Only scored 2 points though. I heard that it was a sloppy game by the dogs but a W is a W. Go Dogs!

that's 2 sloppy games in a row - they will have to tighten it up to have a chance against smithville

Smithville beat Chippewa badly but they need to tighten it up as well. Only two points for Mr. Lint but he really makes that team go with his penetration and unselfishness.

great ballgame here. Dalton played aggressive defense and doubled down on the post to try and counter smithville's huge size advantage. Was back and forth the whole game. Orr is a lot to handle, and caldwell is really smooth. Dalton had a chance to win it in regulation but missed both free throws with about 8 seconds left. Very good game by JT Troyer tonight as well as Orr. Smithville's biggest weakness that may haunt them in the tournament is a serious lack of depth. Frizell returning will help a lot but they still are only 7 deep max with him playing. Dalton's is their lack of size. We defenitely got our money's worth in this one and smithville takes the drivers seat in the league as I don't see them slipping up to hillsdale again. Will look forward the return meeting in smithville and to see how the league plays out.

Very, very good game....wqkt made the right choice on this one.
Dalton's size becoming less of an issue imho. They are just plain good...defense great. Offense able to score inside the paint with Orr in there. Season looking good.

Thought about coming over to this one, but was afraid I wouldn't get a seat. I remember the glory days of Dalton with the Berg's and at that time in Orrville we were good. Dalton should fair well in the tournament going to Garfield Heights. Who's good from that district? Bedford St. Peters Chanel. Not having height may not hurt in sec. and dist. but it usually gets you at regionals. Good luck to the Bulldogs.

those were some good times flash - snuck over to a few orrville games myself in those years. Chanel is good, but Lutheran East has been quite good as well in that district - the bottom of the district is very weak, the top very tough. I think Dalton (and smithville) has some bright years ahead in basketball with a varsity made up up mostly juniors and a talented group of freshman and sophomores. I think the jv team is undefeated this season.

Dalton played a great game! Nice job spreading the floor and making it tough for Smithville to defend with their huge lineup. I look forward to the rematch in Smithville, although I will say if Bates plays more than seven minutes I think it is a MUCH different game. You could tell how valuable he was in overtime with a huge three and two great passes leading to Orr baskets. Lint did a good job going out him to get him out early.
