CBS announced that they will air an anti-abortion commercial that Tebow and his mother made during the Super Bowl, but they will not use a commercial from a gay dating service. This sucks. CBS should either air both or neither.

One commercial is for the right while the other is for the wrong. Not too hard to figure out.

Haha wow, this thread could get good. As for my opinion, I think CBS should be able to do whatever they want to. And how the hell did a gay matchamking company even get enough money for a super bowl commercial? I didn't know there was that much money in it.

Agreed.
There's really nothing that can reasonably be said about that fact.

I agree that they have every right to pick what they want. Do I particularly agree with their agenda? No... but they have that right.CenterBHSFan wrote:iclfan2 wrote: Haha wow, this thread could get good. As for my opinion, I think CBS should be able to do whatever they want to.

Their programming sucks anyway (like all of network TV), I only watch CBS for NFL and the NCAA Tournament... it's not like they lost a viewer here.

You're an idiot. There is nothing wrong about airing a commercial for a gay dating service. I suppose E_harmony commercials will be run. Last week a court came down hard on them for not including gays.cats gone wild wrote: One commercial is for the right while the other is for the wrong. Not too hard to figure out.

Yep. In California.
I love California, but some of the laws out there...

That lawsuit was dumb. Should blacksingles.com match up white people? Just because the worst state in America said it was wrong doesn't mean it is. They elected Nancy Pelosi by the way.FairwoodKing wrote:You're an idiot. There is nothing wrong about airing a commercial for a gay dating service. I suppose E_harmony commercials will be run. Thank God that we will not be seeing this commercial of gay guys. That's f'd up and not something that needs to be shown on national television, with our youth watching "America's sport."
Abortion, on the other hand, is the innocent killing of a natural life and the less it is used, the better off we are. I think everyone can agree to that. Even those who believe abortion to be useful only in extenuating circumstances.
I am against abortion on all counts, but, what really pisses me off the most, are those who think abortion is just a cool 100% surgery pill to avert pregnancy after slut sex. Those people who make that decision are clearly pathetic.

It's not OK to introduce a 7 year old to abortion AT ALL. If you're going to think of the children, pull your head out of your ass and look at it both ways.reclegend22 wrote: Thank God that we will not be seeing this commercial of gay guys. As I said, abortion and gay sex are two completely different things. One destroys a natural life, while the other not only destroys a natural life, it kills it. The killing of baby fetuses and gay sex are not to be compared.
Sorry. Bottom line, I don't want to see two guys tonguing when I'm trying to watch the Super Bowl. If I wanted that, I'd rent a gay porn tape.
