I will be having fried perch for dinner tonight. I've watched so many fishing shows this week (cabin fever) that I went to Krogers and bought a couple packs. Going to coat them with Ritz Crackers and deep fry them. Bought some good buns also to make good sandwiches.

I grandmother used to use a buttermilk and egg wash then dip them in corn meal before deep frying them in a cast iron skillet. I miss the old gal.

Love fried Perch, especially in the summer when they are fresh caught from Lake Erie!

Lake Erie fried perch is damn good! Jolly Rogers in Port Clinton is a place I try to hit when I am up there visiting.

I've been frying fish (store bought) a lot this winter. I've just been in the mood for fried fish a lot recently. I can see me obtaining perch this week because of this thread.
