I'd have liked to have seen more traditional running with Tre and Mason and less of Joey. It was obvious that OG was keying on Joey on the edges.

We seemed to have much more success running Tre...who looked as close to healthy as he had in a while.

I watched the Genoa - Orrville game film the other night... I Just would like to tell the Orrvilles noseguard absolutley awesome game. He was IMO as big of a presence in that game as Hoobler and maybe even a bigger presence in the first half.

As for the game last Saturday, I heard it was another great game. Region 14 was fun to watch this year. Good luck to OG and represent Region 14 well!!! Orrville good season! As a Genoa fan hopefully we will meet up again next year!

I thought the fumble to start the second half was HUGE. Orrville won the toss and deferred to receive the ball to start the second half, only to fumble it away. They were up 14-7, and if Orrville scores on that drive, it could have been very tough for OG to overcome.

there were alot of problems that led to our loss, but the 2nd half play-calling really bothered me the most. joey is most successful running after dropping back to throw. having him take the snap & run immediately play after play was not working. he needs to drop back, then pick his lane to dart through & he's off to the races. the play-calling was good the 1st half, but really bad the 2nd half.

Yes, we needed to run to set up the pass in that game. We started running really well with Tre, but he only had 9 carries I think. Everything else was designed for Joey to run around the end, and they had 2-3 guys there everytime because they knew it was coming. We needed to just keep pounding the ball inside with Tre and Mason, set up the play action pass for a big play (like Chase's 2nd td)!!

Sorry I got everbody's panties in a bunch. Didn't mean to insult Orrville. Was just happy the team from the west won. I have no grudge with Orrville. You guys were the better team 2 weeks ago. Congratulations to Genoa and Orrville on great seasons. Hope to play you guys again next year. And best of luck Ottawa Glandorf. Will be there cheering for you in Fremont this Saturday.
