I bought a $10 piece of software from Target called Ring Factory. It lets you edit the mp3 and then send the clip you made via text message to your phone. When I get the text, my phone asks me if I want to save the music attachment as a ringtone. Not sure if it works with all carriers, but it is slick on Verizon Very nice program for th $$.

OK, I've given you all a few days. What do you have for me?

You don't need an "unlock code", you need a new firmware for it.

You have to understand how phones work. They're locked to specific carriers. That is why you can't sign a contract for an iPhone, cancel the contract and go use the phone on another carrier such as Tmobile. These locks can typically be circumvented by calling your carrier and telling them you want to take your phone overseas, they'll typically provide the instructions for unlocking. However, this is not what you need.

The carrier can also sometimes choose to limit features via firmware, where they disable certain features (Bluetooth, certain options, etc).

You need to figure out a way to flash the firmware in it.

If you had a more common phone, this could be easily accomplished.

I'll see what I can find.

FWIW: You will end up voiding the warranty by flashing it....that is if you even can.

Doesn't look like you can flash it. You can set the ringtone though by doing this:

Perhaps you should have tried The Google.

I did try the google, but I didn't find anything.

Just went to that link. That shows how to set a normal ring tone. When I blue tooth it, the "Set as ring tone" for those files is dimmed out.

Then you must have chosen a format the phone cant handle. What format are the files? Most phones only play a few types (midi, mp3, wav)

It says that I am trying to access a locked feature.
