If the Tourney started tomorrow, who would be seeded where?

I only follow Westerville's teams mainly and know that all 3 schools have a great squad this year.

My guess with lack of knowledge:

1) Northland
2) Gahanna - they haven't lost yet correct?
3-5) Westerville South/Coffman?/UA? - I know South hasn't lost yet, but Coffman has looked great in every game except against UA. I don't know UA's record so I really don't know where they should do either.
6) Westerville North - only 2 losses I believe. One to W. South and one to W. Central
7) Olentangy (the one that's in the same OCC as South, North, and Central)
8) Westerville Central?

Like I said, I have no outside knowledge of any teams really besides Northland, Gahanna, and the Westerville's.

IMO South should be the 2. You're right North's 2 losses are to South and yesterday to Central.

Have you seen Olentangy?? They are terrible. Never mind I just what you said. If Olentangy gets a seed, someone needs help.

I hadn't seen them Wildcats, I just heard they were the next best team outside of north, south, and central in their occ division.

If anyone can knock off northland from central ohio, who would you go with?

I like alot of the #1-#6 info posted.

If anyone around here is going to beat Nortland, it is going to be Gahanna. Only way it happens is if they shoot at the season average clips in the paper and their big 3 each go 50% or higher from 3 land and they just simply have their day.

Does Gahanna push the ball up the court?

Granted this is a homer pick, but I think South could take out Northland. I watched Northland against Findlay Prep and Oak Hill, and I noticed that they don't run at all and their conditioning is terrible. They were all breathing HEAVILY 2 minutes into the 3rd quarter in both games.

I think South may be the best conditioned team in central ohio and if they happen to play northland, will give them a good game.

Yeah the OCC-Cardinal, outside of Westerville, is bad this year. Olentangy is tied with Liberty for 4th in the league right now, but they aren't very good. South almost hung 100 on them, which is saying something for a Calo team; winning 97-44. The only team I haven't seen is Scioto, who is usually very good; but is one of the worst teams in Central Ohio this year(from what I hear from players/coaches). Marysville is well coached(A LOT of respect for Ken Chaffin, great guy) and they play their asses off, but just aren't as talented as the top 3 teams. Jerome is big and pretty athletic, but like Marysville, not as talented as the top 3.

I do know that Olentangy was(still might be, not sure) missing their stud for a lot of this season due to off the court issues. And from what I have heard about him, they are totally different team with him(can't remember his name). But from what I saw out of them, it is clearly a 1 man team.

As far as who can compete with Northland? I'll echo the sentiments of Gahanna. But I will also say that even though South doesn't have the size, I think they could give Northland one hell of a game.

By the way, in no way do I mean any disrespect to the kids at Olentangy or the school or anything. Just from what I have seen of them this year, I don't think they are a very good basketball team.

Marion Franklin has a shot if they win out in the South at the 7 or 8 spot IMO. Brookhaven and Marion Franklin are two City teams capable of winning a district depending on where they are seeded. There are a lot of good teams in the district. Northland cruises, but the rest of thie district will have some really competitive games.

Didn't realize MF was having a good season. Brookhaven is almost always a threat. I don't follow the City League all that much, so I can't really comment on anyone else.

Seems like we are the only 3 people that follow any central ohio bball. As much as I hate to say it, jjhuddle had a lot of good central ohio bball talk.

freehuddle has been pretty weak compared. just saying. not saying I don't like it but just feel like a lot less is talked about over here.

Those are two of the best teams in the country filled with D-1 talent. The only way Northland would loose is if they are bored.

What if Satch has to sit a player for grades/discipline? Us Newark fans remember 2 years ago well.

anything is possible. any team can lose on a given day. I was at the northland game vs the team from las vegas and if not for the terrible call at the end of the game, which again was horrible and the player was totally out of control and didnt deserve a foul. just trying to say that they are beatable and yes i know that team was a great team, but upsets do happen....

True, cause they are definitely not the best team on the court (or ranked nationally for that matter) and will lose early in the playoffs ;)

And seriously no love for the Orange boys? I believe they put a hurting on Mt. Vernon at home and should be atleast ranked ahead of them. They have been struggling a little bit as of late, but big Cameron Sheehan is stepping up and throwing it down (ya know what I mean?) and before I log off, I have two words. RIEGER. JOSEPH.
