Would have been nice to have, but this is one time when it won't really hurt not to get the best player at a position in your back yard. We just need to close with the beef boys.

Not a surprise, really.

I'd have been pretty shocked had it been OSU.

Well, I sure hope JT can convince Henderson and/or James to come to Ohio State -- or it's going to be yet another bomb on signing day for the Bucks.

I might add that I am not optimistic about getting either, especially James (ND).

People... it's been Texas for a LOOOOOOONG time. I don't know why anyone thought OSU had a chance at this kid anymore. He's been a Longhorn for at least the past 4 months.

Yea it always seemed to me like he mentioned OSU only to keep Ohio people interested and to not piss anyone off.

Well, like someone said, we still have Dorian Bell and Andrew Sweat who have yet to see significant playing time (well Sweat did have an interception) and I feel like both of those guys can be studs, so I'm not too concerned. Ohio State not getting top tier linebackers every year hasn't seem to hurt them yet in the Tressel era, so I wish this kid the best of luck at Texas.

Actually, UF was still very much in the running up until 3-4 weeks ago.

According to Bucknuts.com, Hicks felt no loyalty to tOSU because he has only lived in the Buckeye state for (6) years. He chose Texas over Florida because he felt the situation was more stable than Florida because of Meyer's on again and off again leave of absence and because the coach who recruited him, Will Muschamp, turned down the Tennessee job.

We have some pretty juvenile people in here that are glad he went to one school over another.

Who cares if he goes to Texas, Florida or Boise State.

They have a strong possibility to get, arguably, the top player in the draft still.

5 star, 4 star, 3 star, who gives a SHIT?

This is Ohio State, where we take peanuts and turn them into Reese's peanut butter cups, and win National Championships.
