Yeah..I agree with the warning first..that's what I do..I give them a warning..if they cross the line again..then they get some time off. As much as I dislike Sage..and the rules are clearly posted..I think he should have to be warned first.

I don't think he needs a warning. It's not like we need to warn everyone for everything. If someone hacked into the site to disable things, it's not like we'd need to warn them first and give them a free shot. Sage clearly knew this was wrong, and a short break would be best, IMO.

That's what I'd say. Both sentences. Technically, it wasn't on the high school forums --- the thread was put on Serious Bidness by someone who apparently wanted to make sure EVERYONE saw that one school beat the shit out of another to an insane level and people say worse things than that on the SB every day. Still, referring to girls on a high school team as sluts is over-the-top regardless of the forum.

And as a character, he has jumped the shark. Big time. I remember being entertained by his insane rant-fests at one time. After the Cavs beat the Lakers a little ways back and I saw he'd gone crazy on the Pro Sports board...the most I can say is that I had mild interest which faded after reading (at most) 2-3 posts.
