My ipods have been so worth it, and my computer that has never crashed has also been worth it. Don't know why people love to hate on apple so much.

Apple makes their style of devices which are usually flashy and with great design but really about middle of the pack or slightly higher hardware wise.
Microsoft on the other hand makes products from the lowest end to the highest end. This is why comparing the two companies is stupid. You can compare specific products that compete, like their OSs or the Zune and Ipod, but to compare them as a whole entity is stupid.

^^ Gotchya. I had dells for like 10 years, and my most recent one would crash daily. I use my new comp the same as my old, no problems. I had a second generation dell DJ, which broke after soft use in 6 months (the scroll thing wouldn't work right). And the battery was garbage. But that is just my personal experience.
I will say apple computer chargers absolutely blow the big one.

I never had a virus or had a computer crash when I still used PCs. My problem with them were they were always falling apart physically and drivers would just stop working. My trackpads would quit working and I'd have to reboot. My cd tray wouldn't open without sticking a paper clip in the tiny release hole. I've had my White MacBook since 2006 and it still works like brand new.. People that say MacBooks are average when it comes to hardware are clueless. They don't need the beefed up hardware that a PC has because the OS is much crisper/cleaner..

People hate Apple for two reasons IMO:
1. Cost - They are not cheap but IMO they are superior in quality
2. Stigma Apple users are labeled - I could give two shits if you think apple users are snobs who drive jettas, etc.....I have a machine that I love and am very happy with as you are with your PC!

As big of an Apple fan as I am, I don't think I'll be getting the iPad. My iPod Touch is good enough for those features. Though the battery life and larger display are definitely nice.
However, I'd rather save that money and get a newer machine such as the MacBook Pro or iMac.
I love my current White MacBook though, so I don't know when my upgrade will come.

Jetta is VW, not sure why people say Apple users drive jetta but I hear it all the time. I drive a Chevy Blazer.

We have a F-150 and Zx2 in our driveway.. Also have a 88 Mustang GT 5.0, but it needs some inside work done on it.

The only reason I have any Apple products is because they are just so goddamn easy to hack. I got an Iphone for the sole reason to hack it, I got it, immediately cancelled my sham of a plan with ATT then went to work.
The fact that this device is basically a bigger Ipod is great.
Other than that, id never get any Apple device. Only people, and I hate to put it this way, that are not technologically literate, think Apple is like this cutting edge company lol.
