Any tips on Nevada? Run or Pass first? Heavy on either? Stout D, rush or pass? Pass rush, existent or non-existent?

Imex, I know I've asked you this before, but do you use lead blocker a lot? I always wonder how you and wildcats have so many pancakes. I run the ball 80% of the time and don't have that many by my interior lineman. My tight end has the most and it's half what you have. Just curious. What offensive strategy do you set as aggressive?

Dude hung 56 on me. Threw for 400 and ran for 100 that game. I scored 53 so there wasn't much D at all. You should be able to move the ball.TuscaniGT wrote: Any tips on Nevada? Run or Pass first? Heavy on either? Stout D, rush or pass? Pass rush, existent or non-existent?
I wonder the same thing about all of you guys and sacks. I can't get my defensive linemen to the quarterback. Do you play as the DLinemen vs the computer?TuscaniGT wrote: Imex, I know I've asked you this before, but do you use lead blocker a lot? I always wonder how you and wildcats have so many pancakes. I personally use almost everyone during a game. It just depends on what is working at the time. I rarely ever use an outside corner. Since you brought it up I am curious to see what everyone else uses...

I play as a linebacker or safety..sometimes as a DE and drop him into coverage. I love it when people play as linemen because then it is me vs the CPU secondary and that is trouble for them.

Most times PVP I'm running with a Safety or Linebacker, sometimes the down lineman if the set is right. But as far as PVC I'm running as the down lineman, hot routing my DT to contain and re-blitzing (hot route blitz) my DE. My numbers tend to get pumped up against computer opponents, usually ones that I know are pass first teams (i.e. Hawaii, 9 sacks with my DE). I will sit back in coverage on every play and rush 3 or 4. Hence all the sacks and ints. The re-blitzing hasn't really proved to be anything special, but I'm in such a habit of doing it that I just do it.
I play aggressive across the board on D except for the strip (the computer gets way too many facemask penalties if I do).
Offensively though, I have yet to figure out those pancakes. Like I said, I run the ball 80% of time in this league and don't have nearly the pancakes I should. I just wondered if on dive type plays if you dont just take control of a guard or tackle and pancake manually. It's crazy, I can't explain your stats in that category.

New user...HuskerDRC steps in as Central Florida. He joins and it just so happens that UCF plays Houston..so I'll be testing out the new guy shortly.
Any updates on Fresno/Nevada?

Welcome to the dynasty.
In other news, Heisman hopeful L. Miller of Fresno State was held to just 29 yards and number 7 Fresno is upset by Nevada 35-3.

Yeah it was ugly... Nevada played some solid D. Early mistakes and issues with the connection lead to Fresno forcing it late. Hopefully they can bounce back in the last couple games of the season. A showdown down SEC perennial power Georgia looms in a week or two. Hats off to Nevada for playing a strong game.

PS - Its a good thing QB Ryan Colburn is a senior, because he can't throw a flat route to save his life. It'll be key to get some of these WR prospects to sign with Fresno and possibly, just possibly a 4 star QB.

Antonio Brown seems to be the clear cut favorite at this point. Im still holding that if Lonyae can put on a show in the last 3 games it might be tight.
