I agree, if people knew how much salt was in it, I'm not sure it would be as popular. I might do it every 4 months or so for a guilty pleasure, but you are pretty much eating salted meats in a salted corn shell.

Qdoba is just another pretender.... I remember when Baja Fresh was supposedly the new better Chipotle.

And I'm cool with all that salt, it is what it is.

Never eaten there, if im in the mood for some fast food or need a quick meal its either Mr. Hero, Penn Station, Wendy's or Arby's. Whats so great about it that it has now changed the criteria for the 1 to 10 scale by adding 11th and 12th points???

If Qdoba didn't have the queso I'd probably not rank it as high as Chipotle, but it does so I do.

But I also like their new "Craft 2" menu so that's another thing it has over Chipotle for me.

I don't believe I've ever eaten Chipotle. I'd have to travel a half-hour or so to get to one since I live in the sticks. Whenever I go somewhere where there is one and eat out, I seem to always wind up somewhere else.

I really doubt that many people care how much salt is in it, unless they're like 50 yrs old.

I'm 35, am 6'1 and weigh 170 lbs and can still run a sub 20 minute 5K, and I watch the salt intake, that shit will kill you, seriously. Especially when you're above 30 years old. There is a reason why hypertension drugs are so popular these days, practically all prepared food is loaded with sodium, and Chipotle is one of the biggest offenders.

I hear being really uptight and freaking out about every little thing like other people's salt intake can also lead to higher stress levels and more problems for the heart.

Yeah, that's awesome guy, did Dartmouth teach you manners? 3 or 4 years ago I would have been a prick and laid into you like no one's business.

Now, I only wait until you are 35 and uptight like me. BTW, you married yet?

No and thank god... I'm not sure i could afford to take a girl to Chipotle every day ;)

It's one thing for you to mention how Chipotle has much more salt than a person needs in a diet. But you went out of your way to make a big deal about it... talk about manners? Why do you feel the need to criticize what other people like to eat... that's considered rude pretty much ubiquitously.

Who's to say you still aren't a prick or you shouldn't "lay into me like no one's business."

I really don't see anything wrong with my comment. I wasn't the person criticizing others for what they eat... I was just responding to you with an equal amount of attitude as you had.

I'm 6'2 165lb and can run a 5k in under 17 minutes but I'm only 23. Sure the sodium is up there but its not really that bad plus based on my calorie diet its only about 35% of my daily value of sodium. Who cares anyway you only live once might as well enjoy it.

Uhh yeah, I made the big deal, so what was so bad about it Big Green guy? I was only telling the truth, there wasn't anything prickish about it, unless you consider the truth to be rude.

Chipotle is incredibly bad in the sodium content, that is (or should be) common knowledge. If someone posted a thread about how much they love Taco Bell would you criticize a post explaining that Taco Bell uses grade "F" meat? I'd hope not, because it is grade "F" meat! Sometimes facts are just what they are, there isn't any attitude it is just reality.

It was equally as rude as what I said to you, that was my point. I didn't say anything towards you that you didn't bring with your attitude. That's the truth.

You can step off your high-horse any time you want. Or just stay up there and continue to criticize other people for the way they choose to live their life.

Just because people continue to eat there does not necessarily mean they are ignorant of what it contains.
