I'll won't be shocked if Northwest doesn't score a point...

Dover better have some good db's ... NW threw for 580 in week 10.
I hope it's not a blowout either way.
Go NBC!!!!!!

I don't think the DB's will be the problem, the issue for Northwest will be protecting their qb. Buckeye was able to put pressure on him, but not able to bring him down. From what I hear about Dover they will get him.

Not sure I believe that one either, but if Big Red and Dover do meet up it should be a good one.

I think BL figured out where the QB was going before he got there. That's why he was sacked so many times. I don't think the tornadoes will be so fortunate for him to make that mistake. I got a feeling dover offense will figure very quickly that the pass will not be their option. It is good you have a good punter.

I know Dover runs early and then spreads out the defense with the pass after they get settled in. I think the run will be completely effective or completely ineffective. No in betweens. NW middle is quick. Their biggest problem is running past the ball upon penetration. If we can get to the ball quickly, we can make tackles in the backfield. If we meet them at the line, they will run over us.

Dover does great jobs scouting teams... have no fear, the Tornadoes will be ready!

No disrespect towards Northwest, but I don't see them being able to stop Dover running the ball. Buckeye actually had success running the ball on them.

Dover does scout its opponents relentlessly, and this year we have the athletes to stop every team we've encountered so far. Your bread and butter gets taken away and you're left playing the field position game against an O-line thats huge and effective and a D-line thats angry and strong. I don't think week 13 is in the cards for the Indians this year.

Finally, Dover supporters who take the time to talk to us, the Indian supporters. It seemed the talk was doerceted to the Steubys from the git. Thanks. And, you are right. BL did have success running against our D. I don't know why they let up from the run on almost every drive. I guess we will have to wait and see what Dover does to us. I am sureWhiting will address our shortfalls that were presented in the Buckeye game.

This game will be a repeat of '07 only with rolls reversed. It doesn't matter how much of a mismatch there is on the outside if your QB doesn't have time to throw and he won't. The difference in this game is line play(surprise surprise) and Dover's is that much better.

I really hope this is a shootout. As much as I like to see good ol' slobber knockin' football. The Air Attack has grown on me this year. Watching the ammount of speed on display this year has been a lot of fun. The article talks about broken plays. I think one of Jones' biggest factors is his speed on the edge, running away from blitzers. A big key will be keeping him in the pocket. I would however like to see him run more once he reaches the edge to pick up the easy 5 or 6 yards instead of trying to heave it downfield. Unless #1 is standing by himself 40 yards downdield like he seemed to be all night last week.

I would rather see Dover matched up with a run oriented team, but Dover has played well on D against the two spread teams they have faced to this point in Ashland and Tri-Valley. They have done a great job getting to the quarterback in both of those contests. On offense for Dover, I expect to see more of the zone read play with more of the bunch formation rather than the spread. Also wouldn't be surprised to see some play action out of this set, although to this point in the year we haven't needed to. I agree with bases, this one feels like Dover v Northwest in 2007, only in reverse.
Bases, where to before the game for some beverages?

Wasn't the spread a gimmick offense the last time these two teams played?
Beverages? I don't know...somewhere without injuns

Sweet copy and paste. This is like someone calling into WKNR in the morning, taping their call, then calling the Jim Rome show and hitting playDrums of War wrote: I really hope this is a shootout. Actually, if you take the time to look closely, the comments vary slightly. However, I did double post as I decided not to visit JJ anymore. Besides, my comments are so good that you should not be upset about reading them twice!bases_loaded wrote:Sweet copy and paste.
