Interesting, we saw what happened in New Jersey, what happened in Virginia (which we were a part of), and now Mass. The next few days should be very intriguing.

So, I don't know if a President ever does this, but since this is a special election, anyone expect Obama to play nice and call to congratulate Brown? I doubt it.

O didn't congratulate Christie or McConnell. I didn't expect him too, that isn't what he should be dealing with, he should be dealing with a drowning administration and a U.S. economy that is tanking.

You have to be kidding right? Not affected? Have you seen the ammount the $ this clown is spending?

The President doesn't spend anything so I have no why he receives the credit/blame.

The Congress does the spending.

If the president does not veto he gets to enjoy some of the blame.

I did the same thing. Maddow was so insane she made Chris Matthews look tolerable. After a few minutes I decided I didn't want to give them anymore of a ratings boost so I switched back. :D The best line was from Maddow, "the voters are just completely out of touch with reality."

Fair point. I just don't associate spending with the President as the spending policies are largely on Congress.

Wrong.

A win for the bad guys no matter who won that election unless it was the Libertarian.

You had two pieces of crap and one good candidate one of the pieces of crap won.

I didn't follow this very much, other than the ramifications for the country if each of the candidates won. But I was impressed with Mr. Brown when he told the moderator of the debate who kept calling it Ted Kennedy's seat that it is not Ted Kennedy's seat, it is the peoples seat.

I am so tired of the sense of entitlement that our politicians have, and whether or not he follows through and makes it the peoples seat, it was refreshing to hear...

Yeah bit this POC is cancelling out a bigger POC. Its a good trade off.
A good trade off for what? Bigger government will be the end result. It was lose lose and no win no matter how you want to spin it.

The Republicans and Democrats are both equally worthless the people lose again.
