Great point.....I've heard several times from people close to the situation that Big Red has been coming into these games expecting an easy victory.....If you don't think what' said on these msg boards has an influence on how kids see the games, you're wrong.....they read these things.....I've seen 'em doing it!!!!!

That said, the fact that Dover is favored by 10 by CalPreps and the fact that so many outside of Steuby think this is Dover's year, will definately have the Red wanting to make a statement.....

People have been doubting this BIG RED team, at home and abroad....I think they play up to the level of competition like they did w/ Massillon.....

If THAT Steubenville team shows up, there's not a doubt in my mind we win.......

Sorry we don't have any hardware to "back up" our arrogance, we just believe in our team year in and year out because we love them no matter what. You steeler-loving losers from Steubenville, PA wouldn't know what it's like to root for a team that doesn't win championships every year. I bet you all root for the Indians and Buckeyes when they are winning but could give a crap about the Pirates and Pitt Panthers, just as long as you get to root for winners, and I'm sure you all watched the Stanley cup finals the last 2 years for the first time since the early 90's. Let me scratch that, THIS YEAR, you didn't root for the Cleveland Indians but the Pitt Panthers are your favorite college team ever. Because I don't even read Steubenville threads let alone post on them. Why don't I read them? Because you almost never play in-state opponents and your threads are a just a constant circle jerk of 1985 letterman jacket wearing trolls that relish the only 15 weeks a year they can be proud of their community.

this is a game big red needs to establish the ground and using the tight ends if macon does decent then we will win period.

Well, the absense of a state playoff, the poll title is the only thing you can go on.

It's rather small-minded to believe that had their been state playoffs prior to 1973 that Massillon never would've won at least ONE state championship in a playoff in the years they were AP champs, and even in years when they weren't.
