I'm assuming nothing here -- polls or not.

However, IF Brown does win, I guess Obama and his cronies are going to dig in their heels rather than look at this as some kind of "hint" that the American public is less than thrilled with their agenda.

This is exactly the response I would expect, given the man's enormous ego.

Ironic for AgBoy to even utter the term "laughed off the stage." He looks so sad here...I think his lip is quivering as he speaks. I'm going to call 1-800-FLOWERS post haste and send him a nice pick-me-up bouquet.

Anyone wanna chip in?

I doubt the Dems will confirm Brown before they ram their health care bill through, but he would at least give them problems with the cap and trade and any additional stimulus bills they may have hopes of passing.

majorspark posted it.

I wasn't the biggest fan of him (Olbermann) on Sportscenter back in the day, but had no idea what a complete weirdo he was. He is off the chart nuts.

Olbermann's opinion loses all legitimacy with me when you break out the "teabag" talk. Same as the anti-Obama people who want to talk about birth certificates and Muslim roots.

It's along the same lines of the traditional media always referring to bloggers as doing their work "from mom's basement." It's weak, easy, tired...and most importantly, not true.

Not bad. I wonder if any of his conniption was residual from his ass kicking at the hands of Johnny Yoo? ;)

So are the exit polls showing something different that the polls the past few days? FOX website has changed their lead story from the premature celebration to one of election fraud.

4-6 ballots statewide were allegedly found pre-filled for Brown. Coakley is predictably wetting her pants over it.

52% SCOTT BROWN (R ) 1,153,808
47% MARTHA COAKLEY (D): 1,052,391

Let's see....A Republican wins by 5 percentage points over a Democrat holding what was supposedly "Ted Kennedy's seat" in a state widely controlled by Democrats and you are hoping for election fraud?

I'm sorry but LMAO.

Now what will the DEMS do? The voters are clearly speaking there minds across the country! With the Brown victory, what does this mean for the Democratic agenda from now until the push for the 2010 elections? Do they back off or continue to stay on this course? I hope they stay the course, it will be the end of them and their spending for a while.

I think the election was in Mass., so not really possible for people voting to speak their minds across the country...

You beieve that this is an isolated incident? Why are so many DEMS across the country losing in the polls for November 2010?

All i was saying is that voters only spoke their mind in one place last night, not across the country. Yes, people may be speaking in polls and the like, but all that matters is if voters actually speak their mind WHEN THEY VOTE.

And, a lot can happen before November, '10. You guys are already acting like it is a done deal.

We wont know until the fall.

Very true. 10 months is a lifetime in the Land of Politics. If the Dems come to their senses and take their foot off the throttle, along with some signs of improvement in the job market by November, then Scott Brown could easily be reduced to a footnote.

In addition, the GOP has to come up with at least some semblance of a coherent message by then to have success. They still have a way to go on that front.

But at least today is a great day to be a right-wing extremist teabagger. Life is good. :D

This Brown dude isn't a right winged extremist teabagger at all. And I don't think you are either, Fishy.

I do agree that a message was sent. But that's the way it will continue. Incombants will get thrown out each and every election. Until the people realize that neither party has the wherewithall to stop the sinking American economic ship.

This is a major blow to the Obama regime. Even Jimmy Carter's deficient term didn't cost the Dems Massachussets. Apparently the polish has worn off and Obama/Reid/Pelosi are being seen for who they really are...and the people don't like what they see. Expect more in November if the Republicans can find it in themselves to come up with a common theme and common goals.
