Awesome third set for Serena.

She advances past Azarenka.

4-6, 7-6, 6-2

I was really hoping that both of the Predator Sisters would be knocked out.

That other girl, Azarenka, is a really good hitter.

Just shows how much of a freak Serana is when she's on her game.

Davydenko 6-2, 2-1

over Federer

the run he's on you wonder if he's juicing

I doubt it but here is a guy 28 who has always been pretty good but in the past few months has played his best, smashing the ball all over

Someone pissed off Roger!

Remember, Djokovic/Tsonga still to come!

Roger showed why he is so tough. He got blasted early on, but didnt drastically change the way he plays. Its what separates him from the other top players. Most of the other top 10 would have tried to do stuff they werent comfortable with, (like Roddick coming to net off terrible approaches). Roger changed the way he attacked Davydenko with his second serve (stopped going only to the backhand), but that was about it that I saw.

For the first time, I actually think the term GOAT has been used correctly on the Huddle!!!

What separates Roger from the rest of the field is that most of today's players are astonishingly one-dimensional. Roger is just as comfortable coming forward as he is roaming the baseline.

So did Davydenko approach the net by coming up the doubles alley like he did numerous times in a match with Roger at the U.S. Open a few years ago?
I didn't buy into all this hype about the streak he has been on recently, I'll believe he can get it done at a slam when he hoists a winners trophy at one of them and not a second before.

Tsonga took out Djokovic this morning, 7-6, 6-7, 1-6, 6-3, 6-1

Men's semis:
(1) Federer vs. (10) Tsonga
(5) Murray vs. (14) Cilic

intriguing final four

the other three, Tsonga, Murray and Cilic are hungry to break through in a major

but then you have the great Federer to deal with

Tough matchup for Zheng.

She is sort of like Henin in size but that's like taking two equal players but then factoring in Henin's stronger serve, her big match experience, intangibles and all those things.

Zheng is outclassed in that regard.

Serena has won 11 grand slam titles.

Henin has seven.

But surprisingly this will be their first meeting in a grand slam final.

Not sure if Serena will have enough left in the tank for Henin.

I'm looking forward to that women's final.

If Serena is banged up that takes a little away but I question how much of that is legit or her being a little bit of a drama queen.

Henin is a great player in her own right and has all the determination in the world coming back after the hiatus.

Serena will have to be focused and out to prove her greatness from the start and not drag around and play in spurts like she has against some other opponents.
