Just had a great weekend in NE Ohio. Saw the Zips get zapped by Syracuse Sat night. Bummer, but still fun. Then a Taste of Cleveland Sunday eve and the Train concert which was very cool. Then off to Alliance to drown worms, and catch copious pan fish at Silver Lake Park. Also saw a deer run into a car today driving to Alliance... no one hurt and just missed our car. Deer got dead. All-in-all it was a great Labor Day weekend!

Sorry for posting twice... not sure why that happened! But the deer story is true. We were driving out of Louisville towards Alliance and we see these two deer running through the field toward the road. We were ahead of them but we could tell they were going to cross the road and they did. We looked back in our rearview mirrors and watched as the one deer ran right into the car behind us! Damn thing went flying off the road! We turned around and talked to the lady who's car it hit and everything was fine with her except for her car's front end that had obvious damage. But the deer was dead in the gravel driveway where it landed. Nice sized female deer. Made me think about venison chili for football season!
