That would be my guess, not too many venomous snakes down there. That is the most common one, and the people that own him do live on a lake I belive.coyotes22 wrote: Cheese and rice!!!

Couple of weeks ago I guess. They found a whole on her neck and her head was all swelled up. It was late at night, so the vet wasn't open. By the time the morning came around to where the vet was open, she had already died.

Used to see copperheads all the time but I haven't seen them down in Fairfield County for a good long while. There are probably some in the Hocking Hills but I am not going to look.

Copperheads are not a large snake, btw.
Here I was feeling kind of down today, then I was feeling a little bit happy and decided to make a post and all I read about is snakes.

'Brother' of coyotes Husky was bit by a snake and died. Probably a water moccasin, but a copperhead isn't out of the question. Fatal to humans? Not likely, but small animals will die from a copperhead bite.BRF wrote: What's with all this snake talk?

copperheads are aggressive. when i was about 10 yrs old in hocking county, one struck at my friend on his bike and hit his sprocket.
