Boobie Gibson is nothing other than a spot up 3 point shooter and he isn't even a great one at that.

Jawad is long and can defend.

Isn't even a great one? You do realize he is the 3rd best 3 point shooter in the league shooting 47% and is behind DUdley from Phoenix and Parker from Cleveland. He is an offensive threat period. He also gives the Cavs some spark coming off the bench.

He's 3rd best in the league in 3-point FG % at 47.1%.

That's pretty good.

Guys Gibson is once again not in the main rotation.

He can only shoot the 3 and although he is good at it guys like Williams and Parker can shoot it well too but offer more to the team. Moon is out and that is why Jawad Williams is taking his minutes (longer guy who can defend). West is a straight up baller so thats why he plays, dude is tough.

While LBJ hangs 31 on the Blazers in the first half....Kobe has 2 points on 0 fer 8 shooting with a few minutes left in the second quarter.

He's really 0-8?

That's too bad. At least his team is rolling for change, when he doesn't put up good numbers.

Jawad has actually came in pretty nicely, as Windhorst just tweeted that his +/- over the last 3 games is +22 at the moment. Someone just had to be the odd man out with the rotation, and it's been Gibson. Although I hate to see Gibson be completely shut out of the rotation, it just goes to show how much this team has improved personnel wise the last few years, as Gibson was arguably the 2nd best player on the team during the '07 Finals run. Gibson will be counted on again at some point this season, but hey, it seems to be working out for the Cavs pretty well.

Daniel should see the floor over Jawad Williams. People act like Gibson plays D like Larry Hughes or something. Play the man.

Gibson will definitely be used, especially if some guys are having off nights but he needs to work on either his ball handling or defensive skills to get more PT.

Maybe because they are the co-leaders in the MVP award to date.

Yeah, but Kobe has rings so he's better.

Robert Horry was the GOAT.

Last I checked they were up like 20-4. Been a while, since I checked though.

EDIT: Still up 37-25, but not as comfortable as it was earlier.
