Well, yes, that is what I originally posted, but I was more interested in certain things of which people will NOT buy generic brands.

I buy a lot of off brand stuff, but add me to the list of those who refuse to buy generic of some items: Angel Soft toilet paper, Heinz ketchup and peanut butter (don't really care which brand - Jif, Skippy, whatever - but absolutely no generic).

I agree with dog food. The wife bought 'cheap' food for my dog ONCE, it only lasted about 2 days. Poor dogs had the runs for 3 straight days. When he was laying by me, I could hear his stomach making all kinds of noise. Not good.

Also the cheap pet food can make your pet fat because of all the fillers in it they need to eat more to stay full. Only Iams for my cat and dog.
