Browns denied the report FWIW.

Since their is nothing worth talking about with this team, I will add to the gossip and say they reach out to Peyton.

I have more of a problem with gameday than the roster. Although QB and WR are pretty bare. And that said, if Hue asked to get Watson and they passed and are left with what we have now, they can gtfo.

Also, unless the Browns go 0-16, I really don't think they should do anything. This two years to produce model hasn't really gotten them anywhere if you have been paying attention since 1999.

He's tight with Haslam and it's already been rumored that Cleveland is a city he's targeted.

I will say this, Manning may have little/no GM experience but I bet he'd do a job 1000x's better at evaluating QB's than anything they've brought in since 1999.

But you are correct I bet he would do a fantastic job. Many times a great player sucks as a coach or front office (jordan) but sometimes they can be great and I bet he would be top notch.

Myles Garrett now has as many pressures as Carl Nassib (9) this year but has done it on 34 pass rush snaps compared to 128 for Nassib.

FWIW, Jim Donovan just said on WKYC that Peyton Manning was in Cleveland last week and he “has an itch” to get back into the NFL.

The Browns thing would be to pass up on about four QBs in the draft, take one in the third round, and cut Eli during training camp.

Take a RB first round that's 23 yrs old with 900 career college carries, a troubled WR in the 2nd round, a noodle soft tosser in the 3rd, a DE/LBer hybrid in the 4th and trade Joe Thomas for a 5th round and a back up CB starting Rod Fucking Johnson at LT.

While we are at it, if Haslam is legitimately considering rebooting the FO/Coaching staff once again he needs to fucking look in the mirror. Hell, he should have been doing that already. He does not get a pass. I liked him initially, because he seemed to really care about winning unlike Lerner's apathetic approach, but I can't think of one good thing Haslam has done for the Browns since buying the team.
