Doesn’t seem like that at all.

No, S&L...I just loves me some Kenny Britt. LOVE watching that paycheck collector drop passes right & left and give up on routes. Maybe we can resign Dwayne Bowe while we're at it since I want only the WORST players on this squad. I WANT Gordon to succeed and turn things around. He won't though. Doesn't mean I'm hoping he fails. He's a HOF talent and his career has been/would be a complete waste.

It just seems like you want him to fail when every day you post about how big a dumbass he is/was, how you’re not betting on him to stay clean, etc.

Sounds like you’re just waiting on him to fuck up so you can say I told you so.

Say it to no one here as well. Literally no one is banking on him but we're all rooting for it.

No. Anyone who is banking on Gordon to stay clean is the ultimate blind homer. No intelligent person is expecting him to stay clean. As COA said, we're all "rooting for it." The guy is a remarkable talent which makes his whole story sad & baffling.

I think there is enough progress with Kiser that he should get another season. Could come down to how this season ends and how well Gordon can be with Kiser. He seems to have some skills.....lots of good qb stink in year one. GOFF has turned it around as he was 0 and 7 last year.

Browns just don't have any weapins for him. 268 yards on 18 completions is a great game. Better wr and play calling will result in more tds with that sort of yards per attempt and completions

Goff also has a young, innovative offensive mind in Sean McVay who helped catapult his career. Kizer has Hue "Look, Duke Johnson just scored on a 29 yard catch & run TD....We'd better not throw it to him again" Jackson.

that is why I stated they tools around him suck but better play calling and some Gordon esque talent around him can change everything. They have Money to blow so pick up a talented WR and draft well and this slide can stsrt to turn around. They will have to over pay but they have the space.

I started to feel sorry for him after I read about how his hs ad college coaches failed and enabled him and his drug use.

I don't think you can count on him. Maybe hope he plays well, and trade him at his highest, pun not intended, because of fears of a relapse? Ialways believed that's why the reds traded Hamilton years ago.

At the very least, if he still can play at a high level the rest of the season, is if Kiser is your guy if he would get some talent at the WR spot. They could light it up and prove Kiser is the guy and answer am few question

Browns have control of Gordon next year too. If he makes it through the rest of this season, and all of next, with no relapses, maybe they'd have something there.....assuming he'd want to stay. Should something like this happen, no way you give him a fat/guaranteed contract. Would have to have some major incentives built in.

I agree. Do not extend him until you have too. Plenty of time to make that decision. he stays clean I can see some team handing out the money....would he be appreciative of the browns for sticking with him or fly the coop when he can?

There was nothing on those links when I clicked. And, BRAVO....he makes ONE play a game. "Elite level" (like Bosa) are making 1 or 2 a quarter. If he ends the season with 10+ sacks I'll be happy with his first year production.

Well he is on track to having a Joey Bosa type rookie season based on the amount of games Bosa played last year. So far Garret has 5 sacks in 6 games. The experts are saying he is playing at a high level and Joe Thomas thinks he is pretty damn good. I will take their word for it.

God damn it BR, you're so fucking stubborn you make yourself look like an idiot at times. Joe Thomas is the GOAT, and Myles Garret is a great player. STFU

"Great" is an overstatement, regarding Garrett. Great players, to me, are disruptive players that opposing coaches need to game plan around. Guys like Lawrence Taylor, Reggie White, etc. That's not the case with Garrett. He'll make a few nice plays but he's not one of these "OMG...have to make sure we know where that guy is ALL the time because he's a game changer." He's not. He may eventually become that but, right now, "great" is pretty far fetched.

I have no clue how you can watch browns games and not think that garrett has played really well for a rookie and that you’re incredibly excited that we have him.

I also have no clue how you can knock joe Thomas’ play.

Stubbornness maybe.

Garrett has been "good" but I'm not slobbering all over his play, like others. Shit, if he ends up being even as good as Michael Dean Perry I'll be happy with the pick.

As far as JT goes, you guys are the ones who have blown this out of proportion. My opinion is that he's not all that great of a run blocker and if you need a "road grader" to grind out a 2-3 yard run on 3rd down he's not one of the top run blockers I'd want in that situation. The guys pass blocking is impeccable though. I have no beefs with that and he's been the best in the business at that. He's a first ballot HOFer, no doubt. I just don't like his run blocking skills. Queue the PFF pimps in 1.....2......3......

On a side note, as good as JT is a player, he definitely has a future in either media or a front office someone. The guys personality is very intelligent/funny.
