Should Meyer be considered a coach since he is on leave or whatever

I can't see Saban there after this game, win or lose. Fake punt 4th and 23 in minus territory. Not to mention, a good coach would have came out in the second half and put Texas away, like florida did to cincy. 24-6 is too close with this offense to run 3 times and punt.

I do think that is impressive, regardless of the schools. I like Saban a lot and wasn't thrilled, as a Florida fan, knowing he was going to be in the SEC again (when he was hired at Bama). Not sure if he's the best, but he's cementing his place in the handful who have arguments as such.

The thing that I'm sure his detractors will bring up are each of his titles came with some unusual luck. He didn't have to face USC for the first one and he didn't end up having to face Colt McCoy for the second one.

Still some time left in this one, though.

Texas played well...and that td at the end of the first half did them in.

So let's see, didn't like Saban to begin with, hate that he won another title, so gotta whip out the class thing. They won the game by TWO SCORES. There are plenty of coaches who would've handed the ball off right there and if they scored, they scored.

I never really gave 2 shits either way on Saban. But tonight, he was truly a dick for punching it in.
