I just turned it on and Dale Jr is 188mph on a mile and a half track. 2nd car out too. Pablo was fastest in practice barely 186 today.
The record was Kyle last year 185.995

And....Danica wrecks again today.
But again..wasn't any fault of her own..she had a good run going..reaching as high up as 3rd I believe at one point. Harvick pulls out the win.

I prefer the short tracks, there needs to be more of them. The excitement of a race like today in Vegas is who will burn Gordon with a late green white checker.

RIP Suitcase Jake Elder. I remember when he and Harry Hyde were the best around turning wrenches.
Dale Jr. is giving $1 million to Victory Junction Gang. On March 27, 2010, during The Dale Jr. Foundation Physical Disabilities Weekend at Victory Junction, Earnhardt Jr. will join the Victory Junction family as a Founder and will break ground on a one-of-a-kind project, The Dale Jr. Corral and Amphitheatre. Eighty-eight members of The JR Nation Crew, The Official Fan Club of Earnhardt Jr., will be randomly selected to be special guests for this private ground breaking ceremony. Good thing that money isn't coming from Jr's winnings. If so..he wouldn't have a million dollars to give.

^^
Your right after 3 races he is 15th in points and has already made 1.3 Mil in earnings which is double that of the blue douche who is in 19th and has raked in 640K!
Gotta love it when JR gets hated on for donating a million dollars towards the Victory Junction Gang..

It's called a JOKE sparky..learn to lighten up a bit maybe!?!? Glad Jr. donated money to Victory Junction Gang..as do pretty much every other drive in NASCAR. As to which..I also donate to on a yearly basis. Which I encourage ANYONE to do.voewoody wrote: Gotta love it when JR gets hated on for donating a million dollars towards the Victory Junction Gang..
3 races in..and Jr. fans are already talking shit! LMAO! I LOVE IT! After last season..I think I'd wait until the season is at least 10% over before you do ANY talking. LOL I guess when you haven't see the Top 20 in points in 6 months..you gotta get 'em in while you can right? Never thought I'd see someone bragging about being 15th in points. You really couldn't come up with anything better than that? That's rather disappointing.voewoody wrote: blue douche

Haha yeah you gotta get em in while you can! He will probably be out of the top 20 within a couple weeks and I am okay with that. Just wanted to point out he is in 15th and over a million currently. The truth is however no matter what he does it wouldn't be good enough for anybody because of who his dad was. Sucks for him because I really do think he would be a better driver if there wasn't a constant pressure on him from everybody.GoChiefs wrote:It's called a JOKE sparky..learn to lighten up a bit maybe!?!? I would actually love to see the guy succeed. As I've pointed out..I'm not a 'Jr. basher' b/c of Jr..I do it more so b/c of a couple Jr. fans on here that I know. I have respect for pretty much all the drivers (minus Robby Gordonvoewoody wrote: Haha yeah you gotta get em in while you can! Yeah he definitely doesn't have the COT figured out. I would love it if he would run how he did the first year with Hendrick, not expecting Johnson or Gordon like stats but it isn't crazy to think he should run in the top 10-15 week in and week out. We will see though maybe with the spoiler he will get some of the feel back in the car. You can definitely tell he hasn't a clue with what is wrong with his car in most situations.

I just might have to go up for Martinsville in a few weeks. They are going to have a fan forum with some real legends, and a Sam Bass program cover and poster prints.
http://www.martinsvillespeedway.com/Articles/2010/03/fan-forum.aspx
In a journey back in time, seven of the sport’s most legendary drivers will be spinning tales for fans in Martinsville Speedway’s display area on Saturday, March 27, beginning at 6 p.m.
Harry Gant and Bobby Allison have been added to the previously announced cast of Junior Johnson, Donnie Allison, Buddy Baker and Ned Jarrett. Veteran Motor Racing Network announcer Barney Hall, another icon of the sport, will emcee the event.
Plus my hawt high school teacher girlfriend lives there and I need to go see her.

The mystery started on Monday on Twitter. Mr. Boogity Boogity/3-time NASCAR Cup champ Darrell Waltrip sent out two cryptic tweets:
@AllWaltrip:Tim Tebow took my car last night , problem is I didn’t tell him he could , he took it by mistake , its 3 o’clock and he hasn’t returned it !3:52 p.m.
@AllWaltrip: got my car back , trying to get the rest of the story , thought about reporting it had been stolen , Tebow would have died if I had of ! 8:59 p.m.
...
Waltrip later learned Tebow was never in his car.
