I guess the Bengals were 10k short of a sellout and I saw pics of the Rams having a lot of empty seats.
Havent seen the ratings yet but heard that the TNF was way down.

Are the golden days over in the N F L?

The Bengals have had issues selling out for as long as I've been alive. And the Rams play in LA, not surprised by that at all.

Looks like they're gonna screw themselves over the way NASCAR did. Over regulate the sport with too many rules, over saturate with too many games, and out price tickets for casual fans

The Jets take issue with this comment.

I know the tix my buddies and I have for the steelers are face value of 90 plus and they are third row from the top. It is insane, no doubt about that.
Remember a few years ago I bought us Bengals/Chargers playoff tix for the fam when they couldn't sell out that playoff game but for the season opener I figured they wouldn't have a problem. Weather is still good.

Will be interesting how the Chargers do with a home game up there.
Think people for the rams are waiting for the new stadium to pony up the $$$$??

I think it's more likely that people realized NASCAR is stupid.

No. They will show up if they are good though. There is no real rams following in LA. Tickets were are low as 6 bucks and they still couldn't get people to show up for opening day.

Check out the photo for the niners stadium at the start of the 2nd half. There might have been 1k in attendance.

Damn. I know beginning of the second halves a lot of stands look much emptier because halftime is only 12 minutes and not enough to do what ya wanna do.

Fans stop showing up is a good indicator. Havent seen the viewership numbers yet after last year they were down.

At the beginning of the game, I wasn't even sure if Rex was there, as little as he contributed. Beth was trying to give play-by-play and he'd interject something every few minutes in this "Uh...guess I better say something..." sort of way.

When she said "Rex, my eyes are up here" during a commercial, it didn't mean what it usually does!

LOL at too hot. I saw another article blaming the heat and the direction of the sun. Go to a game in Cleveland in December and then try to QQ about you stadium being hot. Pathetic.

Well it's usually going to be hot and traffic will always suck, so good luck to them.

The fans of Green Bay, Minnesota, Chicago, Buffalo, New England, Cleveland, etc probably enjoy hearing how it's too nice for a game, as like_that said.

BS excuses.

Ya typically would have your tix before you even know what the weather will be like. Traffic..yeah, that would suck and does suck for game days almost everywhere. Necessary evil.

I prefer the later season games when it gets colder. Been to a lot cold games but the Steelers/Phins playoff game was brutal and the wind came right at us so it sucks.

Looking fwd to getting home to the 60 degree ohio weather though.

Why do teams not kickoff in end zone? Just give me ball on 25....zero chance for momentum or good field position
